There's a lot of geocities style websites in the conspiracy theorist/aliens world. It feels like it might be a right of passage for them. They've gotta make at least one, possibly several to be taken seriously.

Any indication of why he changed his name from "Wilcox" to "Wilcock"?

Until I saw this posting, I was wondering if he was a relation to the late underground-press baron John Wilcock, who wrote extensively about New Age-related subjects.
 
My only 2 main gripes were that the vast majority of your links weren't archived and that it's pretty wordy. Taken care of the 1st one and the 2nd one is one I can more or less ignore given the type of cow this person is. Would still like more media though to break up the walls of text if possible. Otherwise, good work. The thread seems to be getting more support on contributions than a fair bit of other PG threads so I expect this will be ready to move out in due time

Working on the archives, and linking some of them in the article. And yes, I know it's wordy, but the problem with cows like David is that they are very, very, very wordy themselves. There's a lot of content and not a lot of it is compatible with quick and easy screengrabs. Also some of the fun is in discovering what he's saying yourself.

Editing my post here to get a reply into this. Conspiracy theories are in many ways an act of cognitive dissonance and distrust of everything. It's a slippery slope of belief that can go from well intentioned questioning to bugfuck insanity rather quickly depending on the mental health of those involved and the media they consume. Part of the reason Q-Anon took off like a rocket was it had an audience primed and ready for it. Fox News opinion hosts and people like Alex Jones primed their listeners for someone like Q to exploit better than just around anyone else on the planet. When you tell someone the media is always lying to them again and again and again, it makes them less likely to trust people who say things like 'Where's the proof for Q?' and 'Dude that's insane bullshit' because they assume the people saying that are part of the LIBERAL MEDIA CONSPIRACY TO SILENCE TRUE PATRIOTS or whatever.

New Age and Alien Conspiracy grifters were also great sponges for stuff like Q because Q reinforced so much of what they were already primed to believe - that the government was lying to them and only a core of whistleblowers and true patriots were left inside and now suddenly had control of power again thanks to a new president. They fell for it hook line and sinker, and when the grifter falls for a grift, they spread that grift around and integrate it into their own stuff. David Wilcock and Corey Goode are my favorite examples of this, as they produce a lot of media and also a lot of the methods they fall back on for proof are highly dependent on their own perceptions. Take automatic writing for example. This is a screenshot from David's twitter I just took to prove a point.

David uses automatic writing as part of his psychic reading stuff. Automatic writing is a wonderful source of self delusion. It's essentially just writing whatever the fuck is in your mind. It's also a lot like an oujia board - the ideomotor reflex plays a large part in it. You get what you expect out of it. This of course means that if you already believe that Q is real, and you use automatic writing to prove that Q is real, your automatic writing is going to prove Q is real. Belief is an immensely powerful force on the human mind. Remember, it's only schizophrenia if God talks to you, and you weren't previously hyper religious. David probably believes at least at a surface level in this sort of thing, but you can tell where his mind also leads to - it's all about him. His automatic reading includes a section about his own website.

A lot of new age channeling and psychic stuff is basically improv style 'Yes And' taken to a whole new level. Same with alien conspiracy stuff. The human mind thrives on connections and creating answers. Our brains are hard wired for pattern recognition, even when there is no pattern, and especially when that new pattern matches other patterns you've created.

Basically Fulford is the reason why Wilcock got so invested into the conspiracy theory shit.


Benjamin Fulford is some nut that works for chinese in spreading some batshit conspiracies. Almost all of these batshit conspiracy grifters can be linked to Fulford.

David's Fall to Q-Anon: A Timeline

Alright, let's dig into David's insane blog postings to figure out what the fuck happened to transform him from Mr. Ancient Aliens to Mr. Q Anon Psychic Disclosure Crazy Grifter. Strap in because I had to sit through this shit so you need to as well.

First off, David's always been a man in love with the conspiracy and the idea of a grand plan for everything. This only amplified with the introduction of Corey Goode onto the scene.

So, we can all agree that 2016 was an absolutely fucking insane year. Conspiracy theorists went into overdrive nuts, fueled by long running theories and obsession with certain public figures, fanned by Wikileaks, Russian funposting, and good old 4chan autism. And of course, David is right there, soaking in everything. December 2016 is when shit started to hit the fan, with him talking about the ENDGAME of the Cabal, which again ties into Corey Goode and Disclosure. Conspiracy nuts were thinking that they'd won, that everyone would now see the Truth whatever that was. Well, because they're nuts, when this sort of thing didn't happen, they started to get antsy. Very antsy. David at the time was linking this to pizzagate (obviously) and also to another whole thing related to his belief in pure synchronicity. There is no such thing as a coincidence in his mind, which of course, further fuels the fires of conspiracy. That syncronicty? His discovery of a "Pre-Adamite Civilization" in Antarctica that was being COVERED UP of course. Who reveals this to him? Corey Goode, of course.

Personally, I feel that Corey Goode has had an enormous influence on Wilcock and completely sold him on his story, which is dumb and stupid and summarized in Corey Goode's lolcow thread. This also plays into this as the two have amplified each other's crazy and thrown new stuff into the mix as well. David might actually be the source of the 'mass arrests imminent' part of Qanon, as he's talking about this shit in February 2017, and has been harping on about it since at least 2014. Anyway, things start to boil over in 2017 for David as well. He starts to claim his comments section on his website was hacked, that he's under attack, more. There's also a whole copyright strike saga on YouTube, which he somehow connects to some old dead scientist, because why not. It's crazy, give it a read. He claims this is a 'hack' of some kind.

Personally, I think that David over the period of time between April and August 2017 starts to get into the early Q stuff, combined with his own crazy paranoia. I'd like to evaluate the truth of some of his claims regarding CPS calls regarding Corey Goode, though I'm pretty sure his brakes being 'sabotaged' is more likely just that David probably has no idea how to service his brakes. He also claims of course the only other time his brakes failed like this was when he was at a disclosure conference in 2001, which I don't buy. Anyway, his 'Time Out' update brings the return of him being the new/reincarnated Edgar Cayce, allegations of a 'hack', and

Then hahaha, he actually did get "hacked". It happened a day after he appeared on Coast to Coast - you know, a show that plenty of people in the hacking community listen to occasionally. Here's the scoop on this.

A bit more background on this - David's been a popular place for people to put malware links in comment wise for years, as of course, all his fans are gullible idiots, and if they're leaving comments, they're probably full on believers. He's also been hit by redirect attacks as a lot of fringe sites are, because lmao conspiracy theorists actually understanding shit. Without looking through the logs, which he of course claims that he has a crack IT team working on... which is probably just Corey Goode... I can't attest to the validity of his claims. But this looks more like someone just chucked a botnet at him and he had obvious vulnerabilities. Possibly another schizo, possibly just someone trolling him in his comments, either way.

Personally, I'd put my money on Corey Goode being the guy responsible for this. It'd fit with his own exploitation of Wilcock.

In any case, this event is when he really, REALLY falls into the Q-Anon hole, and goes into full trust the plan mode soon after.

And here's where the Q stuff comes into full play. December 2017. It's a rapid fall - less than a year. He got on the train early on. There's a lot more detail in his posts, but most of it is just pure insanity - like him believing Marvel movies are messages from the Alliance showing the fight for disclosure and against the Cabal. It's crazy.
 
I still listen to Coast to Coast, especially older Art Bell stuff, from time to time as background noise, most of the callers are mentally ill boomers who are afraid of death and seek an answer that would somehow confirm that dying is not the end. It ties in nicely with their narcissism and larger than life complex.

The alien community is full of people like this. I'm going to get another thread started eventually on the abductee/encounter community, since there's a lot of interesting stories which probably are just people trying to pretend their uncle didn't touch them at night.
