Day 1 on antidepressants? Really? She said herself that the meds could take 4-6 weeks, yet she's filming herself taking her first pill as if suddenly she's going to drop the 375 elbees and be happy.

She's so scared that she's been placed on 300 emgees which further shows that she's still absolutely delusional about being 500 pounds. 150 mgs wouldn't do anything to a person her size. And then she has to do the worst thing possible and watch videos of people's negative experiences with her meds. This girl is so impressionable, you could tell her the sky was green and she'd agree without much question.

So, yeah, I give it maybe two weeks (assuming she doesn't "forget" to take them) before she throws the pills in the trash and cries about how broken she is and how nothing can fix her.

She had to taste pasta to see if it's done..? Um.. You know it tells you on the box exactly how long to cook it, right?
Oh I forgot, Big AL is allergic to reading any type of recipe or instructions.

Also I Hate how she always claims she's "such a good fur-mama" when she practically does the bare minimum in terms of care for her pets.

I'm not a pharmicist but I've never heard of an Antidepressant being taking 8-8. It's either XR 1 24hrs, or 2/12, or 8x8x8.

Did anyone catch the depressents name? I kinda skipped around on the video.

And no, just because you take a higher does doesn't mean your condition is better or worse.

She is on 300mg of Wellbutrin.

Okay that makes a little sense as she just started.

Wellbutrin is available as a standard pill of 75 milligrams (mg) and 100 mg, as a sustained-release pill (100 mg), and as a long-acting extended-release tablet (150 and 300 mg).

The starting dose is usually 200 mg a day, given in two doses of 100 mg.

After three days, your doctor may increase the dose to 300 mg a day, given as 100 mg three times a day, with at least a six-hour interval between doses.

To minimize the risk of seizure, the dose must be increased gradually. The maximum dose is 450 mg a day.

The extended-release version is usually taken once a day in the morning within a 24-hour time frame.

Well that should help with appetite suppression but it's Hamber we're talking about here, she doesn't eat only when she gets hungry.

Considering she ate a bunch of pizza (maybe it was a whole pizza?) when she "wasn't hungry" and on phentermine I'm going to say no, it probably will not help her.

I'm kind of surprised her doctor didn't prescribe topiramate to curb her eating - one of the more common side effects is that everything tastes like dog shit. Weight loss clinics hand it out to fatties like candy.

I think its (like phentermine) not covered by (most) insurance and so relatively expensive without it. She doesn't have a Costco close by (Lexington looks like their closest one) and that's the only way she can get fairly cheap non covered shit like topiramate and phentermine for lower (at least semi manageable) prices. And we all know how she feels about phentermine.

They also pass out Topiramate (Topamax) is also shelled out to people in rehab to curb cravings. It’s nicknamed “dope-a-max” because it can make you dumb and clumsy.

I don’t think AL needs any more help in the dumb department.

Whyyyy is there pepperoni in the tube turkey pasta soup?

It's a bit of a paradox that the demographic so obsessed with eating that they die from it never seems to be obsessed with eating anything good.

I don't think Amber is obsessed with the taste of food or buying/cooking it but rather just the process of shoving as much food as possible in her mouth at once and gorging to the point of being uncomfortably full. That's why there's videos of her eating when she wasn't even hungry (like the infamous pizza binge) and making borderline inedible food. I wonder if she's ever done anything pica-ish. That being said, I imagine her tastebuds are dulled and that's why she drowns food in sriracha, tapatio, and liquid aminos so she actually can taste something.

Right. Food is definitely her drug. Doesn't matter how it tastes... she just needs it shoved down her gullet to get that dopamine high.

The thing is, it doesn't matter what pill Amberlynn takes. Wellbutrin will hopefully help her manage her anxiety and depression, but she still has to put the time in and work on herself: therapy, exercise, productive hobbies.

Wellbutrin may curb her cravings, but it won't fix whatever it is that's making her self-medicate with food. She isn't eating because she's hungry, she's eating because she doesn't know how else to deal with whatever emotional issues she's been avoiding since she was a teenager. Topiramate might make food taste gross but she's still going to put it in her mouth, because she's not eating it for the taste.

Ultimately she needs to get therapy, and hopefully this doctor's visit and Wellbutrin prescription (IF she stays on it) will be the first step towards that, but this is AL, so I'm gonna assume another drawer full of chokers or plastic bag full of wax melts will be her chosen coping method.

It’s starting to just look like dirt caking up on and around her knuckles :cryblood:

Usually when you're depressed, your sleeping and eating habits have similar changes. You may sleep less but you also eat less, or you eat more and sleep more. It RARELY goes in opposite directions (sleep less but eat more), which is apparently happening to our gorl here

Please don’t let her fool you. She gets more than enough sleep. She only gets about three hours of sleep when she has to get up at a reasonable hour to be productive (getting her cat spayed or babysitting). She always sleeps well past midday (anywhere between 1pm and 3pm) and goes to bed anywhere between 3am to 6am. Sleep more eat more.

Wow...resorting to medication when her depression most possibly could be diminished or solved if she just chose to get off her fat ass and help herself lose the weight she needs to. But nope, she wants the easy way out. Although even popping pills doesn't seem to be easy for this lazy girl.

EDIT: added a word because English

People in the comments are already telling her things like she doesn't need meds, she needs god. She should cut the pill in half and only take half the dose -- she's got people by the absolute DOZENS reaffirming her belief that doctors are fucking shills and have no idea what they are talking about.

For everyone one of those there about about 5 people telling her to give it time, and how much meds helped them. But those are not the people she will listen to.

But this depression is most likely purely self induced and environmental....

She said at the end she is afraid of falling asleep (or something like that)... probably afraid because there's a high chance she won't wake up or wake up having a heart attack.

I think it's funny she's wearing the sleep shirt as a regular shirt. She will probably read people calling her out on it and say "It's too cute to just sleep in" like when she wore the other shirt backwards. There was a video not too long ago with her showing another shirt 3x and claimed that fit her. I think that was a sleep shirt too.

Then saying when she went to Becky's family's house "she forgot a change of clothes" lol...so now instead of regular clothes she'll just wear sleep shirts to make it more convenient. Getting changed must be real hard for her, like taking a shower.
