I think DBDR was actually Hitler in a past life.

I can't think of any other reason the universe is punishing him to this degree.

Idk, I think I might disagree. This might be what finally motivates him to give up.
It's hard to give a concise timeline of DBDR, but if you've watched him long enough the last few years of his life have been a long road of fuck ups, both self inflicted and not, to the point now where it's like, I have no clue what his next plans are.
He's been lucky enough up until this point to not get into any serious legal or medical trouble that would bar him from maintaining a real job, but after this loony bin stay (not even the first one mind you), Idk how lucrative his career prospects will be.
It also doesn't help that he's a huge mark, like idk what it is, but grifters, psychopaths, and lunatics are drawn to this guy like flies on shit, and he's constantly getting taken advantage of.

The worst part is you know DBDR's family would blame him for failing if he got that sociology degree but couldn't get a job with it. They'd probably put in in a group home for it only in that timeline it would be at age 29 instead of 25.

The family pill strikes again. Even before DBDR’s uncle conned him into the current mess he’s in, his dad also took advantage of his generosity during the first time he lived with him. “Hey bud, could ya get me a six pack?” and then his savings just had to go flying.

I think his low T and low sex drive are a blessing in disguise at this point. If he was still interested in dating, he’d be an easy mark for an abusive BPD woman. He seems to be aware of the disorder but also a bit naive about how bad it actually is. But since he’s not desperate for a crumb of pussy, his tolerance for women’s bullshit is a lot lower than most men.
 
One of his videos was recommended to me a year ago. I commented on the video that it was a little too doomer and that he would make it. After watching the most recent video, I can say, without a doubt, I was completely wrong. :(

I stopped watching Rehab Room because he just kept getting worse and bitchier without any reason to be. It was just him releasing more or less the same video over time. Until eventually it's just nothing but him saying everything is shit and is always shit or secretly shit or going to be shit. Man practically repeats the same talking points verbatem.

Thinking Ape, at least back when I watched him before the rumble move, could actually back his own doomer perspective with how people generally behave. The self-interest people have to operate by to get by so things function. Some people end up fucked because someone has to be fucked. Women and men both behave in certain ways and nothing will change that.

Rehab is like an endless sink of Turkish bitterness, forever upset he wasn't born white or at the very least attractive. Him saying white women were the most masculine type was the funniest shit. A friend of a friend was a white collar guy who did fed time for shooting yt and paralyzing a guy in a road rage incident. He went right back to six figure white collar employment after getting out.

Money past a certain point can’t make you any happier but not having money certainly causes a lot of misery. Now, I wouldn’t recommend selling your soul for it because you could go to bed a multi-millionaire and wake up tomorrow penniless but I definitely recommend trying to have enough money that you don’t have to worry about your day to day needs. I think the change in lifestyle that would be necessary to live comfortably in the US while poor would be pretty dramatic for most people and there’s no dignity in being a ward of the state.

I make very good money, relative to most people, and the amount bs I'm able to inoculate myself from I'd argue is life changing in it of itself.
