I am confused as to what I am looking at.

From what i've seen in leaked concept art, the art style is meant to be influenced by artists like Ronald Searle and Quentin Blake.

Oh Jesus, hearing Keaton repeat the "let's get nuts" line, with zero passion, and zero context, was fucking painful. There's no reason he would ever say that exact line again.

The worst sort of memberberries shit.

This means it will be a hit. Picard season 3 showed that even the anti-woke crowd will instantly change their mind on a movie if there are lots of references to previous media.
I'm interested in this movie. I unironically liked the DCAMU movie, and I'll die on the hill that Apokolips War is way more bleak and savage than Endgame.

With that said.

Random idiocy.
Is there a reason they don't hire people named Lopez or Sanchez anymore and they all have goofy Aztec-sounding names?

This seems like it might work for a one-off joke Christmas special for an hour or so, but I can't see getting more than that out of it.

It has a more humor-like Sunday comic strip feel, something like Garfield, Dilbert, FoxTrot, Over the Hedge or Mother Goose & Grimm.

Oh, he's just explaining about magnets and shit and how they work

But seriously, what in the fuck is he even saying!?!
All the Gods of earth that created the Amazons were actually Kryptonians and Ares was the one who crashed the ship Clark found in Man of Steel.

Why Snyder is so damn attached to “Superhero’s are GODS that walk the Earth and look down on humanity as a whole” edgy is bizarre to me.

Snyder doesn't understand superheroes. He's the Rian Johnson of DC.

He is the worst actor I have seen in years!

I usually put a lot of the blame on the director as they make a huge difference and all too often people place all the fault on the actor. But this guy is TERRIBLE. If I could download this show from somewhere I'd do a montage of all his weird reactions. He basically has two ways of emoting. Tilt his head to the left, or tilt his head to the right.

There are two notable actors in the show. The woman who plays "Joker's Daughter" has fuck all to work with but does her best and you can tell actually can act. The other, credit where it's due, is the FtM troon who is BY FAR the most likeable character and easily the best actor on the show, saving Olivia Rose Keegan (Joker's Daughter) as noted.

The show rarely misses a chance to shoe-horn in Diversity™, a woman rarely has a husband when she can have a wife. Unless the husband is maybe a villain, then it's okay. And the villain this week was Black so clearly it would turn out that she was being forced to commit crimes. And the writing is terrible. I'm going to say the thing, the impossible thing: It is worse than Batwoman.

There, I said it. It's hard to believe but it is true.

Is Disney intentionally trying to one up DC calling Batman a fascist? Marvel recently trying to shit on The Thing for being cis straight white male.

Well the Titans TV show wrapped up for the handful of people who still watched it into Season 4. It continued its pattern right up to the end of being alright except for the dialogue, the direction and the plot. I would include the acting except I can usually tell the difference between a poor performance due to lack of talent and a poor performance due to terrible directing and editing and mostly it was the latter. All of them could have been better in different hands. I shouldn't be able to see characters standing in the background waiting for the line so they can start walking forward. And Raven running on the spot like a boxer waiting for the bell to ring before a door opens to the final battle is alternately believable because of her age and laughably dumb. Also, it seems to be the rule that as the youngest cast member she gets to wear the scantiest costume. They still don't have the budget to do anything with Beast Boy so he mostly just runs around and occasionally turns an arm into a low-resolution tentacle to hold onto something.

The writers really feel like an AI*, just stitching up cliches from other media. We even got the "Do you really think you can beat me?" / "No, but he can." line lifted directly from Thor: Ragnarok. Everything is predictable, everything is formulaic. Shame - the first season showed some promise. I stopped watching in the second season and picked it up again in the fourth out of morbid curiosity. Given the final episode and how they wrapped it up, I'm fairly certain there wont be a S5.

Gotham Knights, on the other hand, is sort of uniquely awful and has become a guilty pleasure of mine.

*If this post is read in a few years time, please note I'm referring to AI in the sense of current early stage AI. Not the AI which has now supplanted humanity.

Michael Keaton isn’t the only blast from DC’s past in Warner Bros.’ upcoming superhero tentpole “The Flash.” During an interview with Esquire Middle East, “The Flash” director Andy Muschietti revealed that none other than Nicolas Cage is making a cameo in the movie as Superman. It’s a shocking and full circle moment for comic book movie fans and Cage, who was cast in Tim Burton’s failed “Superman Lives” 25 years ago.

“Nic was absolutely wonderful,” Muschietti said. “Although the role was a cameo, he dove into it… I dreamt all my life to work with him. I hope I can work with him again soon.”

“He is a massive Superman fan. A comic book fanatic,” Muschetti added.

Nicolas Cage fans know that his love for Superman runs deep. Not only did he plan to play the superhero in Burton’s failed project, but he even named his son Kal-El, a reference to Superman’s name on his home planet of Krypton.

Just how Cage’s Superman factors into the plot of “The Flash” remains to be seen. The film is set across the DC multiverse, which explains Michael Keaton’s return as Batman/Bruce Wayne for the first time since starring in Tim Burton’s “Batman” (1989) and “Batman Returns” (1992). Ben Affleck is also reprising his role of Batman/Bruce Wayne from Zack Snyder’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Justice League.” With two versions of Batman and Nicolas Cage’s Superman now confirmed for “The Flash,” there’s no telling how many more surprising multiverse cameos will be waiting for fans to discover in the film.

After launching the Batman movie franchise for Warner Bros, Tim Burton turned his attention towards Superman in 1998 with the development of “Superman Lives.” The film was scripted by Kevin Smith and centered on Superman’s fight against Doomsday.

“It was more of a 1980s Superman with like, the samurai black long hair,” Cage recently told Variety about his failed attempt at Superman. “I thought it was gonna be a really different, sort of emo Superman, but we never got there.”

During the same interview, Cage said, “I don’t need to be in the MCU, I’m Nic Cage.” He may not need the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Cage has finally closed the loop on his 25-year wait to join the DC Universe.

“The Flash” opens in theaters June 16 from Warner Bros.

This is never going to work. It's just memberberry fanservice for the sake of memberberry fanservice. It's fucking retarded.

I doubt he'll be involved in the main plot since this movie looks to be pushing Diversity Supergirl for the reboot.

Apparently, Lynda Carter 's Wonder Woman and the CW's Flash were going to make cameos but were axed. This may flop harder than The Rock's Vanity Project and Shazam 2.

I find it hard to believe that it's gonna flop harder than Black Adam and Shazam 2 combined. I watched both of those movies and I regret it. I'm looking forward some fine trash with the Flash atleast.

I'm still not interested in watching it because I refuse to give them any of my money. I get that most movies 2010s onward based on IPs are just the same repetitive shit that even the most jaded redditors enjoy because of the name in big bold letters, but things are getting much, much worse. I despise that most media has turned out this away since the 2010s onward.
