You guys are focusing to much on his shitty “I’m an Alan Moore style intellectual” writing and not on the writing that has done real damage to DC. His work with actual mainstream heroes, and the runs DC let’s him write. Right now his currently ruining Wonder Woman and making white men the villain, because his a self hating bitch with mommy issues. Those mommy issues playing into how badly he ruined Batman, turning the dark knight into a simpering little bitch who can’t do anything without his cat mommy holding his hand. Let’s also not forget the Batman story he wrote where Batman did nothing to save a woman Joker was holding captive, not even so much as attacking him after the clown blew her head off. No what Batman did was sit in pray with The Joker. Also this faggot killed Alfred and turned Bane into a boring queer who likes to wrestle naked with other men.

Worst of all with Kings character destruction is what he did to Wally West, turning a beloved character into a crazy psychopathic murderer for no reason besides he just could. On top of all of this Kings a former glow nigger! This man is the human embodiment of everything wrong with western media in general and is a clear sign that no one, especially people here, should be excited for whatever James Gunn is working on considering how close King is connected to it all. Though maybe it will be a positive for the actual comics, if his too busy being a Hollywood faggot maybe he won’t have time to ruin characters anymore.

mmm. Could have worked. Would have been ridiculous to make them a major part of ongoing comics, especially if they were not allowed to be gory, but they've done wacky stuff before.

Would have gotten some fun crossovers out of it at the very least. I think it would have worked better if they were relegated to a stand alone game or animated movie, but I would have paid money for a live action mortal kombat Snyder crossover.

His mother is a Hollywood executive of sorts, so the mommy issues become even more ironic considering how he's using hid mother for his nepotism. Also, I didn't knew until now, but did he also fucked up Wonder Woman too? I heard he did somewhat acceptable job for his Supergirl comic, so I wonder how he fucked up Wonder Woman.

His mother was/is an executive for Warner Bros which is most likely how he got anywhere with DC because nepotism, being a special diversity hire and knowing the right people is basically the only way to get into mainstream comics right now. I’ve hated everything his ever written so don’t ask me if Supergirl was acceptable because I couldn’t get through the first few issues of it, and as for Wonder Woman it’s not yet at ruining, it’s just boring woke shit. Though I’m sure the worst is coming but I’m not expecting him to ruin Wonder Woman, no I’m expecting him to ruin any male character attached to her, especially if they are white, since white men are the clear villains of his story right now. Kings a good little feminist so his not going to write her as a bad character, his just going to write her like he does all the other female characters he writes, like they are his mother.

Gail Simone can (possibly could) do decent writing. During her Birds of Prey run she did someone genuinely good stuff.

Crying shame that Gail Simone with DC's current batch of editors and corporate culture stands no chance of churning anything adequate out.
 
Aquaman 2 may break even thanks to the international box office.
The final film in the now-defunct DC Extended Universe, a series of big-budget superhero movies that will surely be studied for various reasons in the years to come, isn’t performing too shabbily at the global box office. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom was all but written off by audiences and Warner Bros., which gave it a half-hearted marketing push following back-to-back debacles and major behind-the-scenes change-ups.

Despite mixed reviews and the well-publicized issues around the film’s production and release, Aquaman 2 has stayed above the surface for over three weeks now. The movie grossed an estimated $5.2 million at the domestic box office this weekend, slipping out of the top five for the first time since its release. A strong opening in Japan pushed its overseas numbers to over $265 million, which puts the movie’s cumulative worldwide gross at $373.7 million. A $400 million lifetime haul is totally on the cards, which wouldn’t look too bad when compared to the film’s reported production budget of $200 million.

Aquaman 2 has done better than everyone thought, but $400 million will still be too low to break even. Rule used to be twice it's budget to break even, however that isn't clear with increase in marketing costs for blockbusters, so likely to be more than that.

Still, movie should clear $400 million easily, and with VoD numbers should get it over $500 million bring it to break even point or small profit.

Same happened with a Pixar movie Elemental. Neither of them are good movies and even normies have given up all hope on these products, but a lot of other normies are still paying tickets to see them because of name recognition. It's consoomer behavior

If you want to get frisky in the backrow of the cinema, you don't want to pick a movie where the film will be distracting. There's a niche here.
 
The only thing by Tom King I liked was his Superman Up in the Sky comic. I expected him to shit on my boy like he did on every other character he touches but it was actually probably my favorite superman comic that year and I was shocked. everybody's got one gem in their pile of turds I guess.
