Maybe they can do Crisis on Infinite Crisis on Infinite Earths, and have all the different DC multiverse crossovers cross over with one another. Totally pointless to adapt it in the first place.

and kill them all and the whole company. I love DC comics more than any other fictional thing but I'd be fine if we killed the whole universe for good and never touched any of it again at this point. just reprint old shit in a print on demand format for the low and they'll stop losing money and fans. they sure as fuck aren't gaining any.

and these retards missed the superhero movie boom and as shitty as I thought they were they dominated that landscape with their cheap tv shows in the 2010s. Its over now.
 
Watched the first two episodes of Kite Man after just giving up and using Incognito Mode to watch on Kimcartoon. Fucking anti-adblock dickmeasuring contests.

More of the same from Harley Quinn - subpar animation, CG blood splatter, and a bunch of irreverence. Also I know Keith David has never had standards and he's already done Darkseid before this, but I still want to blame Vivziepop for this.

The ONLY good thing about this was the final lines they gave Kevin Conroy. He was a good Batman for the 30+ years he was, and it would’ve been extremely fucking gay to make his final performance in that stupid “Kill the Justice League” game.

Otherwise, DC took the only good, somewhat quality things they actually had about them, and diarrhea’d all over it. Because it wasn’t James Gunn making a shittier photocopy of the MCU.

I had some vague hopes for Kiteman because it was the same writers as the first Harley Quinn season. Though Harley Quinn did do the Progressive messaging it was also very funny to start with and somewhat self-aware. Then they replaced the original show runners with two women for diversity reasons - not shitting you, there was an official interview where this was given as the reason though they pulled it down.

Kiteman was a fun and likeable character.

But whatever allowed the original writers to make the first two seasons of Harley Quinn actually funny, is gone. Don't know if they lost the magic or the company squeezed it out of them, but Kiteman was bad. I think I laughed at one joke but I can't remember what it was.

i just want us to go back to pre n52 status. is it that hard? just give us good stories, respect the history, and whatnot.

please stop making lame new gay niggers. it's about as bad as the '90s push for EXTREME characters that were forgotten within months.

the black one? yeah, looks like they made her into a bit of a mary sue OC.

although i guess if you're gonna arbitrarily add a new mainstream attempt, a GL is probably the easiest to do so because they're a gigantic organization. . .

which means we didn't need Alan Scott to be turned gay. . .

They could have just given us a. . . idk. . . Scott Allen. Have him be the third undisclosed/unknown kid of Alan Scott.

see, Obsidian came out as a homo in the '90s in the gerard jones JLA run and it was kinda funny.

then Obsidian being gay was just treated as a part of his character, but not to the point of overriding all else. Hell, we even had this

I genuinely think they just made Alan Scott gay in the n52 Earth-2 book because his son was gay and then some retard decided that was going to be canon for the normal Alan even though. . . we'd spent decades with him having a history of being with women and an entire '80s-'90s arc of him finally marrying the OG Harlequinn (his "catwoman" and going to hell to save her soul.

If we were to pick a homosexual to just spawn into the JSA, there's plenty of better picks. Jay, Allan, Ted, and Carter are just big "no-gos" for this. Hell, wouldn't it be interesting if they decided to give some classic Golden Age character more exposure by writing up a Blue Marvel style comic about how there was a prominent hero of that era who became forgotten due to the government finding out about his homosexuality? DC owns so many Golden Age names they could just fucking throw out there.

Fuck's sake, just retcon it so that the original Firebrand was gay and led the Freedom Fighters whenever Uncle Sam wasn't there. Bam.

I'm actually still doubtful that was Kevin Conroy. It sounded a bit like AI to me. The Joker's voice was definitely AI for example.

They credited Mark Hamill as the Joker. It sounded bad, don't get me wrong, but I don't believe it was AI. I think he's just old. Plus they had Kevin in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and that was 100% him. Also, apparently they've been working on these movies for a few years now, Kevin died in 2022. I'm more willing to bet they had those voice lines stashed away until the movies were ready.

A bit off topic, but seeing this reminds me of the time they hilariously converted "Halo" into a non-binary muslim, for Young Justice season 3. As to rack up as many woke points as they could in 1 character.

Them crediting Hamill doesn't really mean anything, he did MultiVersus recently too and sounded like his old self. The version in Crisis is very, very obviously not him. Even the excuse that some people make "he was trying to sound like his old self" doesn't hold much water considering the massive difference in voices to the extent where it sounds like either AI or someone doing a really bad impression of Hamill's Joker.
