tbh the X-Men soap opera all over each other all the fucking time anyways so they might as well just slut around
I mean, it _is_ a college

so back to dumping of TV Tards there's a dumb internet joke I was a direct participant in the creation of that they claim is a real thing
I will always keep that in mind whenever anybody cites them ever.

Fuck....I still cannot even think about this shit without my brain imploding at how fucking embarrassing it was

I still find it funny and ironic of how much Zack Synder gets MEME for Jesus symbolism yet it was James Gunn who crucifixes Superman in the first official DCU installment.

Even with the marvel floating timeline, most of the X-men are pushing 40 to middle age and over. Yet marvel at writing them as if the X-men were all still teenagers. It's as embarrassing as marvel turning Peter Parker into a NEET after one more day who still lives with Aunt May in his late 30s to early 40s to make him more relatable to comic readers. Not even kidding

That preview looks like utter shit and anyone who expects anything other than retard tier nigger-slop hasn't been paying attention. Hopefully this will fail as spectacularly as the MCU has recently, but I will never underestimate the publics capacity to consume product.
If the new movie really did cost over $300 million for CW costumes and effects, then it deserves to fail. Man of Steel gave me a headache, but at least it didn't look cheap.

Nigga are you implying Zack had no Jesus symbolism in his films and James crucifying Superman one time is proof that it was actual Jesus symbolism unlike the blatant "Superman is Jesus" metaphors in Zack's movies.

Reposting this from the last page but um....

And then there's these from Zack's DCEU films

There is a big difference between using the same Jesus symbolic pose and Christ imagery. You see in Spider-man 2 and Superman Return to the literal crucifixion on a cross in creature commando. Reading comprehension. Try it.

The Collateral damage wasn't the complaint, the complaint was how little Superman cared about causing the Collateral damage.
He had about the same level as care as the DCAU Superman. I don't remember users on the Toonzone forums complaining about the collateral damage Superman caused on an average Justice League episode.
(Superman vs Grundy starts 2:07)
(Superman fights at 2:02)
(yeah, I know it's cheating using the Captain Marvel fight)

Just to be pedantic, the U.S. govt and military nevers calls civilian casualties "collateral damage" as it still haves that one spark of self-awareness to know how bad it sounds. Collateral damage is strictly for buildings, infrastructure and such. Dubya Administration months before 9/11 had to tard wrangled Hollywood on the matter just before the original intended release date for the movie "Collateral Damage." Only Hollywood and those who don't care to know better believes collateral damage refers just to civilian causalities.

I dont think you wanna use the Military Industrial Complex as the good guy meter

At this rate, WB would be better off hiring Micheal Bay for the DCU reboot. All the issues with Micheal Bay movies. Alienating more than half the audiences who voted differently than him wasn't one of them. Remember Micheal Bay was one of the biggest critics of Obama in Hollywood when the Transformers movies made the most cash.

God damn Gunn looks like a goblin. I would kill for Michael Bay Superman btw. His work on another red and blue alien who loves Earth was pure kino.

“Who would you be without me, Kal-El?”

“Time to find out.”

Bay would've made the best (Baysed, even) Suicide Squad movie. Hell, after seeing how much of a bigger faggot Gunn is, I wish Mel Gibson (one of the many rumored directors for the Ayer one alongside Ruben Fleischer, Daniel Espinosa, Jonathan Levine, David S. Goyer, & Gavin O'Connor) actually would've made the Suicide Squad (Ayer one) movie.

Bay actually was supposed to make a DC film during the Snyder era (2018, to be precise), except it was a Lobo film. Literally the most perfect character for a Micheal Bay film.

Speaking of which, Lobo live-action is just unluckily in production hell. Guy Ritchie was supposed to make it in 2009, but it got dropped because of the greater good (The 2nd Sherlock Holmes film). Brad Peyton was supposed to write & direct it in 2012, then in 2016, Jason Fuchs was supposed to be the writer. Then came Bay in 2018, & that went to production hell too.

Good, I fucking hate Lobo and what that character represents. You want everything wrong with comics? It came from that, he’s the proto Harley Quinn.

The world missed out on Hasbro and Paramount not letting Micheal Bay make his post 9/11 GI Joe movie. Micheal Bay wanted to do GI Joe, not transformers. Micheal Bay is good at making stupid movies emotional. Stupid and emotional is what 90s DC comics did best.
It's hilarious that a guy who got fired by Disney for being too much of a pedophile is out there throwing stones like he's untouchable.
I still don't believe Disney fired him over making child rape jokes on Twitter. Disney never fires anyone who is a progressive or democrat. They still refuse to fire Rachel Zegler for being the female Ezra Miller hurting the Snow White remake. Disney is still defending firing Gina Carno for quoting the Holocaust museum. I am still willing to bet money we will find out Disney really fired James Gunn over him inviting his sex offender friend on the set of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

I don't know, maybe he is.
He's spewing shit like this because he knows was damn well he's not untouchable and getting fired by Disney due to conservatives using his own perversions against him, is like a fucking pretty boy getting his face sliced up Tyrion Lanister style.

Yes, he got rehired but only after he got with DC to basically get revenge on Disney and then basically told he wouldn't be allowed to stick around after being brought back for GOTG 3. And had to privately grovel not to be kicked to the curb by Discovery when they found out he was going to dump them the second Dis ey brought him back into the fold full time.

Look a his appearance; that is the look of a man who got spooked HARD when his perversions got made public. The kind of rapid aging that comes from the fact that he came a hair's breathe away from getting arrested for CSAM. Someone who had the scare of his life as he realized he nearly got sent to jail for life and only survived because Disney decided to fake out their critics by firing Gunn purely for PR reasons then bringing him back when the heat died down.

Amd even now, Matt Reeves is actively shitting on Gunn behind the scenes and telling him to fuck off and refusing to collaborate with Gunn and make his Paterson Batman stuff part of the Gunn DCCU. And Gunn knows that the Superman film HAS to be a big titted hit or else. No modest success. And that if he fails, there will be no non-Batman films for at least a generation.

So he's lashing out like an asshole and probably already knows that he's fucked anyway so he's using these last two works just attack his enemies because he'll never get another chance.

It's certainly possible that Gunn had some nasty secrets that led to his firing. However, what makes Gunn's side of the story—that Disney panicked and fired him as a PR move—more believable is the fact that many Hollywood actors came to his defense.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying these actors are saints. No need to remind me that the Hollywood elite can be morally dubious. In fact, I’m using their questionable morals as part of my reasoning. Simply put, people like them wouldn’t have risked their reputations, or carrers, or millions in income for no reason—or if they knew Gunn was a serious offender. People don't stick their necks out for innocent people, let alone for a sex pest.

Yet, nearly the entire cast of Guardians of the Galaxy defended him.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not dismissing your theory however. It's possible. But If Disney did fire him for being a sex pest it must've been something very secretive.

Contrast this with Joss Whedon—when he was "canceled," nobody vouched for or defended him, not even those he worked with at WB or Marvel. At the very least, even if Gunn is guilty of something, it’s clear that the actors he hires genuinely enjoy working with him. That said, I can confidently say that Gunn is guilty of being extremely nepotistic. His casting choices are definitvely decided on who he can be buddies with, and will likely pass of a talented actor for a friend, or someone he can have a drink with in a bar. On that, I have no doubts.
