Gunn pushing edgeslop then skinwalking KC shows that he’s a pretender, a secondary and at his core, one of the consumers of the rot, the “muh mature arthouse mini” crowd that took comics from children and injected nihilism into every single character.

The same types who made X-Men inaccessible to children because of all the degenerate sex and over the head, constant politics.

I will never understand how this happened. Half of it is plot armor galore where Penguin beats up guys twice as fit as him for cheap shock value, and the other is some opwessed criminal girl boss hypocrite whose creepy ass face looked like it would pop out the screen to call me a scrote at any second.

Modern American comic writers only know about "Nazis bad"
and nothing else
hence why they are losing to manga industry when it comes to driven narrative storytelling
there is no nuances in modern storytelling
or putting themselves in the shoes of a Nazi character and how they would act and behave if raised in such an ideology and how the other viewpoints could be seen as reprehensible in their views

like enabling 13% of the population committing 61% of murders and saying "thats not an issue" is CLEARLY an issue
i mean im not Aryan irl, but even I can stop a moment to write a better plot on nazi characters and how some of their views could be justified in some way
since viewing Nazis entire views as 100% Pure Cartoonish evil is just being bad faith and unironically ignorant

since alot of Black Supremacists, Islamic supremacists, Asian supremacists share exactly the same views just replace the word "Aryan" with their identity and voila. Nazi views isnt even an outlier throughout history.
 
Finally watched Superman, its shit I hated it, worse part is that I wanted to like it. Whoever thought it was a good idea to portray Superman as a fragile bitch that once Lois mentions the word "SuperShit" he throws a tauntrum and storms out of the room, deserves the rope. Also if the clone needs input from a human to even move he should not be able to keep up with Superman especially since the ones controling him are a bunch of regular ass humans with computers while Lex yells at them, so they can't even excuse it with "Lex's is sooo smart his brain can keep up with Superman's speed".

I kind of wished that WB has the balls to greenlit a series on DC based on Earth-X

Following the POV of a guy raised in Nazi beliefs and Nazi propaganda all his life, and he becomes a Hero figure in Earth-X
only to find old documents detailing that his grandmother who raised him all his life since the loss of his parents. was secretly an Ashkenazi Jew.
and the moral conflict he has that the one relative that has always been there since he was a kid was a jew. and he been going around killing jewish refugees and etc.

But no, the jews and colored people arent depicted as 100% Infallible moral characters
and part of his Hero career as a Nazi hero was saving aryan children trafficked by African slave traders and whatnot.


Y'know actual nuanced storytelling.

Not only that's nuance, which is forbidden as you say, NAAZIS must be one-note cartoonish villains, with nothing to stand out. Overman would probably be too much for modern writing, as he might be liked by normies and we can't have that. I wonder if we don't have Ruskies as enemies in movies anymore (even though the leftards hate them right now, funnily enough), because they wouldn't dare to represent commies as the bad guys.

The best part is that was pretty much what happened in Creature Commandos. G.I. Robot was so focused on killing an army of Neo-Nazis, he was blindsided by Circe, a villain with actual superpowers.

You'd think for all the concern they have for people falling down the alt-right pipeline, there would be more stories explaining why people turn to fascism instead of just stating that it's wrong. An episode of The Twilight Zone did something like this to great effect.

They'd run into the Starship Troopers problem of writing compelling arguments for the Nazis. James Gunn already has problems with Occam's Razor by having Jor'El footage being doctored after Lex stole it.

Did you forget ever since 2022 its totally fine to portray le RuZZian Orks as the bad guys due to all the Neolibs and NAFOfags loving the war in Ukraine? lol you'll even find media that play up the "Asiatic Horde"/"le RuZZians/Soviets are ackshully the REAL nazis" stereotype too for Russian villains in media recently

People threw a shitfest over Atomic Heart that came out a while ago because the game is made by Russian devs and is set in Soviet Russia (without ever being 'against' communism, its just set in the USSR albeit a futuristic version) and people accused it of being a Hohol Killer Simulator 9000 (wished it was tbh).

If anything having Soviets/Russians as good guys in fiction (like CoD: World at War) these days is actually kind of punk rock.

Lex makes a comment when he sits down to talk to Flagg and says that there is a "Bear-Sized man with dragon skin buttfucking a glowing twink with cartoon eyes." in the cell next to him. Playing off the whole I hate Meta-humans thing.

People online think its a reference to Doctor Phosphorus and Killer Croc

Honestly probably was written as a one off joke but weirdos got to ruin everything.
