Super Sun/Sunburst
GRATE!

tbh Tomorrow Man isn't too bad considering how many good names are already taken

They could have tried to tie him to the solar powers and call him something like Super Sun/Sunburst or whatever. This name sucks though. Tomorrow Man... How did such a placeholder/generic/lazy/bland/rip-offy name for a flagship character get past anyone?
How about names referencing his flying powers, like Skyhigh Man or Captain Stratosphere?
I haven’t heard from T.O. Morrow in like a geological era. What's he been up to.

Also when did he start dressing like a divorced man at Margaritaville?

To me, he looks like if Sinestro cosplayed as Grandpa Max.

No. They do not roll off the tongue all that well. Short and snappy is the way. Personally, I would have gone with "Invictus", as in "Invictus Sol" (The Unconquerable Sun), but that might be too close to "Invincible".

Fair enough, I was spitballing there.

New Supergirl trailer released:
I hate modern sound mixing and the way everybody mumbles. I had to pause and replay parts of that trailer half a dozen times in order to make out everything that was said.

Looks bland and formulaic and I'm going to say that I think they might actually do the impossible here, and fuck up Lobo. That little "touché" he gives at the end.

I thought Superman was good but my god this looks boring it's gotg 3 again.

Another "oh I'm depressed and I have anxiety issues" movie but with laser eyes this time.
Listen I like the John wick movies but they kinda ruined a generation of film with giving animals ridiculous amount of plot armor yet they kill kids or old people (in Superman they cut a scene were krypto gets punched for being too intense yet they were okay with an infant almost dying pretty hypocritical) and worse downgrading villains into misunderstood or having standards instead inspiring fight scenes and cinematography or better writing such as pure evil villians.

That's why I thought monkey man was decent even if it's jeet slop and why villains such as jack horner were great.

I'm probably gonna put my money on spider man.

I know I can't wait to watch another surly, "ironic", narcissistic, slatternly yet utterly unsexy void of charisma invulnerably girlboss her way through a bunch of irrelevant CGI chauvinists, while being cheered on by her squad of faggot-coded, wisecracking degenerates.

New Supergirl trailer released:

Let's see ... Cute animal gets poisoned/almost murdered by bad guy, leaving the protagonist to find a cure before the said-cute animal dies. Mix in some hijinks and flashbacks involving trauma, and you get Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. Like, it's the exact same plot.

Ohhhh this movie is going to bomb spectacularly. James Gunn? More like James DONE, am I right?

Stick a fork in the DCU.

Also Supergirl would never call Superman "Clark." Truly shows how little James Gunn actually cares about DC's characters.

James Gunn be like "How can I get people to give a shit ... That's right-- make the bad guys ANIMAL ABUSERS and HUMAN TRAFFICKERS! The movies write themselves! Why even try to write a compelling villain when I can try to emotionally manipulate the audience through the most superficial methods possible?!"

No, it is fine. Throwing around ideas is always good.
I get it. I just wanted to let you know there were no hard feelings.

This movie's going to be fraggin' awful.

I'm glad somebody else said it, I instantly went what the fuck? at the very beginning of the trailer for that reason.

That seems like something someone would catch at the script stage or something honestly I dont know how that got through. I mean of course a dork like me would notice it, but just from a character standpoint I'd imagine an editor would.

Sad to report that Lynda Carter was.....incredibly wasted for her Archive of American Television interview.

I know she has struggled with alcoholism in the past. Hope this is just a minor mistake on her part.
