I know that the DDOS shit is outsourced to shithole countries with people who want to earn a quick buck, but I'm quite curious about which shithole countries it is originating from. Is there a pattern to it, or is it just random? I'm really not nerdy enough to understand how it all works.

Is there any point in analysing where it is coming from? I've noticed a few times when I switch countries in my VPN I'll get a captcha, but not other times. It seems like some of it is filtered out, but not enough to stop the disruption.

not necessarily, most of the big operators ive seen are some kids from america or europe that have good connections and can get their hands on compromised servers with good connections, then they just connect them up to their backend. Thats why a lot of these services are inconsistent as fuck. Higher quality services use rented servers with guaranteed bandwidth, and yeah those are mostly in shithole countries.
Its honestly quite interesting as whole
