So, if I'm reading this right. None of the changes to Leatherface and Billy's add-ons actually went into effect, they just changed the description for the add-ons... Stunning levels of incompetence but what amazes me is that I've been using Light Chassis forever since the Leatherface buff and I've noticed no difference in movement speed. So, without restriction (slower movement speed when revving) gone then holy shit.

Edit: the new aura's are MUCH better. A million times better. Also, I dunno if I mentioned it but if a survivor is holding sprint burst Leatherface can counter that.

The new auras are really good, before I missed some people when bbq got activated be it because of the auras or my low res monitor but it's far better now. On another note I've come to bitch again about matchmaking and the servers, first off I've seen people get disconnected right away from matches including myself a couple times, maybe this is a LATAM server issue but i've gotten 1 dc every match I played today (about 7). And then we all knew matchmaking revamp was just lies but today I tried Billy for the first time to complete a daily and killer skill doesn't seem to matter at all.

The round I was DC'ed at the start, look at those ranks and perks.

Another example of a DC right at the start, also those survs were really mad at nothing, as I played fair and square, those accusations of tunneling and camping are just fake news to top it off the last one escaped via the hatch, RNG sucks.

Matchmaking is an absolute crap shoot right now. They're all ragequitting like bitches because the devs disabled ragequit punishments for the moment.

Did some testing for best Leatherface add-ons. The two chili's are barely noticeable. The Purple chili is more than enough of a speed boost. Purple chili + Carburetor Turning Guide sounds good on paper but you move a little bit slower during the dash and it is noticeable. If you want to be fast as shit without using the perk Play With Your Food than Purple chili and Green beast marks are your best bet. You're pretty much guaranteed to get them at a loop or at least take away the pallet with Purple chili and Green beast marks. But Purple chili plus Light Chassis is amazingly good too.

Lo Pro Chains:

Lo Pro Chains shared the downside from Speed Limiter, but the upside wasn't enough to justify its rarity. We've updated it so it only deals a single health state for a short period after breaking a pallet or wall. We've also changed its rarity from Ultra Rare to Very Rare.


  • Survivors hit with the Chainsaw within 5 seconds of breaking a pallet or a wall are damaged for a single health state.
  • Updated rarity to Very Rare (from Ultra Rare)

They're fucking joking, right? That's not a buff, nobody is going to make five seconds worth of distance, in a straight line past the pallet, in the middle of a chase. The only way anyone is ever going to get the benefit of that is if they break the pallet at the start of a round-the-world play, in which case all you've done is save the time you would have spent kicking it. At least learn from your mistake with the fucking brick and make it 2 seconds, you incompetent mongoloids.

I could kind of see it. Because pallets spawn so close together it's fairly common that they drop the pallet, you chainsaw it away, they take 2 steps to the next safe pallet. See: the Stranger Things map or Blood Lodge for a good example.

Edit: matchmaking is WTF tonight. As Leatherface I'm playing what looks like guys who have 10 hours max in the game as survivor. It's an absolute slaughter fest. If I had a soul I would feel bad. I wonder where the fuck the red rank SWF players are getting matched to? It's either one of two things: this new matchmaking system doesn't exist and that's why they haven't said anything about how it works or how it matches people. Or, this is how they're segregating the SWF players so they rarely get matches? Or it just doesn't fucking work. One of those three options.

2nd edit: Ruin is in the shrine. After experimenting with Ruin + Surveillance I would recommend the new Ruin. I still don't think it's better than older pre-nerf Ruin but with the right killer (such as the one's with map control) or if you pair it with Surveillance it's quite good. But, you know, you have to use two perks to slow the fucking game down. And there's still a chance of an asshole spawning right on top of Ruin and taking it away in the first minute.

Corrupt Intervention, Surveillance, Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel are the best gen slow down perks.

3rd edit: I finally got the Rift challenge where you grab two survivors off of a gen while using Discordance. I figured with the fucked matchmaking I had the best chance with Ghostface. Even though I fought complete tards that literally ran in a circle while pallets and windows were everywhere I managed to finally get it. 700K BP in the bank now. Just waiting for a killer I actually want. I am undecided with Candyman as it will depend on his power(s) and what perks he has. I really, really, really, really, fucking really want Jason or Pinhead.

Did all the current Archive challenges for book 4 except the two Ace-exclusive ones. People have no fucking clue how to play against Hag, she's kind of fun. 3 Genning is pretty strong when they constantly trip traps and you get a free teleport to them, I had a few 20 minute games in Nightmare on Elm Street map because I'd refresh traps on second floor house gens and maintained yuge map control for a long time. I had no idea you could crouch past traps to not trip them until I saw it as a tooltip playing AS Hag(only one player finally did this, out of 4 times on that map), and in trying to do the "blind a killer" challenge I learned on the wiki you can flashlight traps but what a pointless waste. Hopefully I get the two-faced terratoma cosmetic this summer, I'll actually use it.

Does using the hex perk that makes gens decay 200% faster break your ability to kick gens? I noticed Hag had inconsistency in being able to, but I let it slide since the perk was usually active and killing gens for me.

I like Hag but SWF is a problem for her. Because you'll be in a chase and they'll intentionally set off traps to pull you away from the chase and take away pressure and if they're not injured already then they don't give a fuck. Especially a SWF running Adrenaline.

I think the new Leatherface can stand up to a SWF. It all depends on the map on what perks they have because just one Unbreakable can really fuck you over.

Hag is a noob and random stomper. Completely owns survivors who don't know how to counter her, but gets hard countered by SWF, Flashlights, OoO, and Urban Evasion.

If it weren't for Object of Obsession, Freddy can easily face a SWF. But the devs refuse to address this cancer perk.

If they manage to get the license, curious how Jason would be designed since he's kind of got no gimmicks that I remember besides being kind of immortal. He's one of my favorite horror villains though so I'd probably jump on that.

I think with more games matchmaking is starting to level out a little bit, but starting to run into survivor groups that feed the Killer too. It forces me to drop a little as well because I can't get anything done in those rounds.

There was one game I couldn't figure out, I was Trapper against a SWF. The bait survivor somehow set off all my traps running past them during chases without getting caught or injured, but didn't have any addons or perks that were useful for traps. That was only the third time playing him though so maybe if survivors just run close but not into it, it snaps shut?

I wouldn't be surprised if they give jason some Gimmicky passive where if he being looked at he slow as shit, but when not looked he sonic fast.
That sound like something the dev team would do.

A lot of things you can do with Jason. Idiots in the community keep running around saying "He'll play just like the Trapper because that was a Jason thing! Shut up and stop talking about him!" Even though he used a bear trap once... In the remake. By that logic he should use a bow and arrow or a speargun because he used a speargun twice.

A lot of things you could do with him. He could teleport and jump scare. He could just walk through a wall if we can borrow some ideas from his appearance in Mortal Kombat 10 (he had a mode that give him super armor in the game). Every normal hit induces Deep Wound like Legion. Maybe his power would be a variety of different weapons he can find in a map?

And he would have to have multiple kinds of mori's.

I could see them licensing Jason from New Line/Warner Bros. So that would mean no Tommy Jarvis, sadly. It all depends because Behavior are tight wads.
 
I think i'm finally getting the hang of this, in spite of being constantly fucked over by the game. As of late I've been using ghostface exclusively and I really dig him, I'm able to defend hooks and gens very well as they don't notice how close I am most of the time, thrilling tremors is a really good perk too, knowing which gens are being worked on exactly is fantastic. Also, thanks for the Franklin's Demise recommendation Bruno, it has made games significantly easier to manage and slow down.
