Dead video game series/franchises you refuse to let go

To me the series died here, The 2010 rebellion game was a pale comparison. Worst part is that specifically AVP2 was memory holed from all digital platforms, however the reason I brought this up is that I found a group of people that made a pack in with everything you'd need to play this game, so I'm posting it here to get more people to play one of my favorites. To at least keep the memory of what movie license games should be.

One of the best parts about it were the mods. Tons of maps and gameplay modifications. I specifically remember a map that had a giant interpretation of Rod Serling's ballsack. There were even mods that balanced the multiplayer while incorporating elements of the first AvP movie like giving Predator's giant wrist blades.

I'd add Red Faction to the list.

My friend and I used to play the multiplayer constantly. It had good maps, nice weapons balance, but it lacked some polish.

Then everything after that was pure garbage

Warlords Battlecry was a pretty fun RTS series that doesn't get talked about much. Had a lot of fun with 2 and 3 in the series. Nothing will bring greater shame to your opponent by having his big bad demon and undead army get trounced by a swarm of fairies.

I thought I was the only who remembered Warlords Battlecry. Loved all three of those games when I was a kid.

I started playing 3 recently and it's a lot of fun. And hard. Would like to see more of that.

4 was announced last year and it's supposed to be coming out sometime in 2020.

Granted there hasn't been much information beyond the initial reveal trailers so make of that what you will.

Timesplitters and Thief - although a new Timesplitters now would probably suffer from the same "MEMBER MEMES? LOLRANDOM" shit that infests Borderlands, and a new Thief would likely take none of the lessons from Thief 3 (don't make it simplistic for the console brigade and ruin the core gameplay experience you cretins) so probably best they stay dead

A nice point and click game which i finished and waited for then announced sequel... and waited and waited... its probably dead because of greenlight failure.
Shame because I really liked the screenshots posted by devs.
