Jace needs to feel like the entire DN turned their backs. He kind of has it coming, even if the real DN is random people on the internet who just love watching him fail. His willingness to leave Eli stranded in Tel Aviv and then his attempts to blackmail him are pretty fucked. An ideal response would be Jace to panic and try to win back favor with DN by flying Eli out of there but since he's off his meds and now in "Commander Stryker" mode he'll probably just get more combative and impulsive. So, there's the right thing to do.. and then there's the hilarious and totally irresponsible thing to do.

Gee, wonder which one Jace will pick.
