Fun thing to do is search IP geo location for users that have the same first two or three octets of your public facing IP, they'll likely be in your general area! Then you can have a good old KF meet up, and maybe even date and get married~

Obviously won't work if that person has been using a VPN, so don't try to find and date me silly boys because I'm not a dumb dumb who visits what people deem "wrong think" sites outside of a VPN+VM. Seriously though, with the direction that things are going with online communication, do set up a VM (preferably Linux/BSD) that can not communicate out without a VPN and utilize it for spicy websites along with the other obvious things (throwaway email, password not used on any other site, etc) since you never know what can or will happen.

Sorry for the reupload, being an admin is difficult and very often thankless especially in the face of occurrences as such where you're in a rock and a hardplace playing whack a mole with all the things that need to be done and no matter what move you do you will make someone pissed. But I'm sure you too know its basically a "genie out of the bottle" thing. Shit is already out there, people can bitch at me instead if need be.

For the paranoid just let this whole thing be a lesson though about using proper measures for signing up and utilizing websites with non traceable information, even if in reality very little will come of this whole thing in actuality.

Honestly people deleting their account because their REAL IP got leaked seems kind of counter to the idea of deleting your account. Mine's fake so I don't really have a horse in this race but still, hear me out, if some butt mad ugly bastard sees you've deleted your account after having your IP leaked, they'll know it might be actually real because you went into hiding, so you kind of cucked yourself by accident. Or you could be playing 8D chess with LEET HX0RR, I don't fuckin know. I just switch my VPN from one cucked country to the next and I'm fine, forever "safe" from any danger hair snuggling tho:((:_(.

If this is the possibility I'm thinking of, the dm headers in my dox would have given it away, not like staff didn't know from pretty early on about all his alts. He was supposed to be exposed soon anyway.

PS regarding the slapfight between null and formerly Cricket and Ride's bitch...I voted yes despite seeing the user's point. After Christchurch, Null urged people strongly to change their emails to a one-time throwaway. And anyone can now have their account name changed or account deleted as happened with the above.

Did this release any info that Null didn't have access to? Null seems like a nice enough dude, but I sure as hell don't know him, and I assume the same is true of most other users here. Why would you trust Null with personal info? Or any other website owner?
It seems like anyone who had any actual important info released in this basically self doxed already to a random dude on the internet. For that matter, why would you give any website ever personal info they don't need? That MLP fansite doesn't need to know your real name and phone number...
