No, if he got in trouble, then that is idiots calling him out. Shading in to help reference something, like placement is allowable. Only special snowflakes like you would have an issue with it. However, shading in an area or putting dots or whatever to help you place things, should never be an issue. Tracing line for line over another artists work and then claiming the entire thing as your own original work is the real issue. You should know all about that, since that is what you have done in the past. Right now you are reaching so hard, you must be hurting your back.

The creator of the stock photo gives permission for it to be used as a pose reference, which is what Lamby is using it for. She did nothing wrong. And she's a better artist than you.

There are no lines to trace in the image, it's a real person doing the pose. That's not a drawing she is referencing. How many ways can a person explain how stupid you are acting right now?
