Looking back on the pictures, I think the front part is what really solidifies for me that the picture was referenced / copied / an attempt on Lamby’s work. Same cut of the top, arm lands at the exact same place across the chest, same amount of belly showing, same exact placement of something across the lower stomach (Emily did some kind of fur instead of a cloth. You can see where Lamby’s art hid more of the stomach and Emily had to guess what that would look like.) The mid-leg ends at the same length, same with the hooves. Again, because the ankles on Lamby’s are obscured, Emily had to guess and it looks much worse.
I don’t think she traced it, genuinely. But I do think she referenced it, either by having it up somewhere or just having remembered the image and tried it by memory. Either way, it’s pretty crystal clear.
