To be fair, DB doesn’t hasn’t blatantly shilled or rigged a fight that much for a good while. Weiss lost in Weiss v Mitsuro, Yang lost in Yang v Bakugou, and Blake lost in Blake v Inuyashi. Albeit those last 2 had the outcomes decided via voting polls.

That being said, I do think Blake is going to pull out a win here regardless. RWBY has superpowers and sic-fi bullshit weapons on their side. AoT has barely advanced past WWI from what I’m familiar with.
This really isn’t a balanced fight at all, and just there to both feed RWBY another win, and to cash in on SnK ending.
Kinda like how Shadow v Ryuko exists solely for the meme.

I honestly haven't kept up with Death Battle much in terms of every fight, but yeah this fight really doesn't work since it is a clear power imbalance like with Venom vs Crona where one has the clear advantage before the fight begins. Might as well make a Death Battle between Batman fighting Godzilla.
 
What I find really interesting is that with how common cat girl characters are you could've found other characters for Blake to fight and it would've made more thematic sense while being a more even match.

People just want this one more apparently. And someone mentioned the whole "AOT is ending" thing. Sometimes you gotta chase trends and the algorithm.

Also, a buddy of mine mentioned that Blake vs Mikasa is the most requested DB for Attack on Titan by a pretty wide margin.

I seriously wouldn't rule this matchup out frankly, especially now that current year has bought into the "his superpower is money" meme.

i would like them to to do another godzilla related episode but i'm obviously biased

I’m actually looking forward to see where Iron Fist v Po is going to go. The odds are actually pretty decently matched, and they’re both throwbacks to the 70's Enter the Dragon era who both have a famous finishing move and diverge in terms of being from settings with vastly different tones.
A pretty fun looking fight by the looks of it.
But yeah, Blake v Mikasa fucking sucked.
