Not sure I'm wild about the new album.

I like DG generally though. JPEGMAFIA has a few similarities, but leans much more on glitch and trap vs the industrial and hardcore hip hop these guys normally work with.

Four year necropost but I do feel like it's a little bit relevant considering Death Grips is touring this year. Looking forward to it because they haven't toured since 2019 and I managed to get tickets before scalping faggots drove the prices up.

Wish I could catch a show or two, especially after not going to shit the last three years. Really hoping more for a new album too. Last year got me all nostalgic for the NLDW ARG days, the build-up for shit back then was so fun even if it was kinda gay

It's gay Death Grips has a /mu/-type fanbase, but the music is good, and I enjoy the Manson references throughout the albums. Bottomless Pit (the place Manson talked about in Death Valley IIRC), Year of the Snitch (referencing Linda Kasabian), etc.

Do any of y'all subscribe to the schizo theory that Death Grips knew about the Manchester Bombing before it happened? There is this weird theory that states that they released their EP, Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix), literally 22 minutes before the bombing happened. There's this weird ass video that goes over the crazy coincidences between the bombing and the EP.
