You're typically still a child when you first gain the ability to get pregnant. The youngest recorded pregnancy was a 3 year-old (with Precocious Puberty, but it's only considered Precocious Puberty in girls if it begins younger than 7 so a 9 or 10 year old getting her period is just the younger end of normal).
