Hitler wasn't any worse than Roosevelt/Truman IMO. The US dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima/Nagasaki(the only country in history to ever to use an atom bomb, and on a civilian population nonetheless), after being attacked at Pearl Harbour, which in turn was a response to the US essentially cutting off Oil Supply for Japan, which they considered an act of war. America has regularly interfered with foreign politics, such as the CIA operation to kill the leader of Iran in the 50's, as well as many others.

After the US became involved in WWII, they threw all Japanese and Asian looking nationals into internment camps. And I'm pretty sure that if Japan had beaten America, you'd be sitting here reading about how America was systematically wiping out Japanese and Asians by the millions in death camps, the winners write the history after all.

The more likely scenario for the Holocaust is that Germany rounded up Jews and other political Prisoners in internment camps, similarly to the Americans and the Japanese, and as the war stretched on, and after losing multiple fronts, the Internment camps were undersupplied and people simply started starving to death. But these days, even suggesting Nazi Germany was anything but the literal Army of Hell called forth by Satan, is enough to get you branded a bigot.

^People forget World War II wasn't fought over the Holocaust, rather Germany's military aggression as retaliation following an unequal treaty signed after World War I, which ended in an armistice.

So from what people told me, the Nazis tried to organize British Palestine, then tried to ship them off to Madagascar, and then when that failed, as a last ditch effort, they gassed all of them. Seemed like a bit of a jump but hey.
