It's not really about "gender", a made up feminist, post-modern term. It's about sex being a bimodal spectrum, and intersex DSDs, i.e. mostly genetic illnesses, are regarded as human diversity and normal. It is destroying the need for medicine to put people in strict categories, like obese, male, female, anorexic etc. It deconstructs all objective data and creates a stigma around research dealing with human categories. It results in males in female sports or prisons.
