When he said mods were editing his posts I thought it would be more like "Lolcow is a faggot" to "I would fuck that lolcow with my microdick" or something just as silly.

But no, the edits were legit edits to stop powershitting.

For real though this thread was a shit show.

Also, not a lawyer, but mods or admins editing other people's comments could put the site in legal danger. I forget the name of the law itself, however I do know of a law existing that protects websites where people can upload shit from being held responsible for illegal content being on the site. This only is in effect, however, if the site is not curated by a team of people, and mods editing comments without people asking could result in KF losing that protection. This pretty much means that all it would take is Vordrak to have a bad day for the site to be taken down and Null could end up in hot water.

Actually it's the opposite. That's the old rule (Stratton Oakmont) that was done away with in the CDA. The edits could be defamatory themselves but in this case the first one was to save this moron from his own stupidity and the subsequent ones are obviously just to fuck with him after he chimped hard.
