Debate user @SSj_ness on the relative morality between hunting, eating meat, killing cats, and rape

Mankirk youre a completely spastic retard so when i saw it was you who made the op i literally didnt read it.
fuck you nigger; learn to not get mati
It was a goddamn debate about the ethics of killing animals in a thread about a coomer who may or may not did something with his cat (I don't remember the reason the thread started). I think splitting the topic is a noble endeavor, even if he went about it in a retarded way.

What if I want to kill things for the pleasure of killing them, behavior that only the highest forms of life like hoomans and cats enjoy?

YAMEROOOOO!!!
I would happily bite chunks out of my own living flesh before I killed a precious kittycat to feed myself in times of hunger. Cats are heavenly creatures. In a period of extreme hunger I would just welcome the company of a cat (and possibly even share a little slice of elbowmeat or nubbin of earlobe ☺ ) The cat would then feast upon my corpse after I passed and subsequently become rescued within a week. He will become adopted by a good family but never truly lose his traumatically acquired appetite for human flesh.

Have you seen those disgusting chinks eating all sorts of live animool?
Now I fully get it if you're starving, but you're not, so just don't?

Watching chinks eat food is not one of my favorite pastimes, no.

But if something is well-prepared and tastes amazing, I don't really care what the animal was.

In fact, I propose we start butchering and eating Pitbulls. That's two birds, one stone.

None of this should be difficult. A lot of distinctions involving the killing of animals are bound up in the language we use to distinguish different things that are, well, quite different. They are also reflected in various state laws and statutory bodies around the country and the Western world.

To hunt pertains to "wild game," which excludes the gratuitous killing of domesticated or captive animals.

Livestock is another word which denotes an animal raised for the purpose of slaughter to harvest food and materials (like leather) something different in kind then a pet or even a stray or feral cat or dog.

Pest, nuisance, or vermin are also words we use to distinguish someone killing mice (which are vermin) with glue traps as opposed to what I (and others) were referring to. Pet store mice are different from mice that are vermin.

I stated people who gratuitously harm or kill animals should be dealt with severely. I actually think they should be tortured in many instances. Ness tried to obfuscate the obvious by suggesting distinctions are difficult to draw when they are not, as these distinctions are embedded in the language we use AND most indeed probably all statutory laws which make these types of distinctions with sufficient clarity that people are prosecute who should be while allowing for things like hunting, cattle ranching, etc.

There was never any need to entertain suggestions that there is something nebulous about discerning that Luka Magnotta is different than a sportsman or a cattle rancher. Another sick incident involves a video called "Felipe the Flying Cat." Search for it if you must but I think the context makes it clear what this is about and I would advise against it. Caveat Emptor.

I am not convinced that all human life is more valuable than a cat or dog's life categorically. For me it depends on the cat or dog and person or group of people in question. There is a lot of false humanity that is worth less than nothing. But even supposing that is true, dealing with animal cruelty and gratuitous, sadistic animal killing severely is not incompatible with a position that values human life categorically higher than I do .

Finally cats aren't the only creature I AND society elevate (dogs too but I like dogs less). Civilization though has always elevated some animals and condemned others. That same construct allows us to discern correctly rats and mice as vermin, cats and dogs as domesticated pets that provide untold benefits to humanity.

It's not "prepared".
It's some fucking sad octopus out of an aquarium that some bitch on Tiktok is putting in some bowl of sauce and then eats while it moves and tries to escape her. All while making faces when she gets tentacled over her dumb face.
Worthy of hard labor and expropriation if you ask me.
Stop eating animals you don't need to. We already are fat and gross. Less food would work great for most "civilized" peoples.

eating it while it's alive is the only point of contention for me.

I'm not giving up octopus tempura or takoyaki any time soon.
