I think Trump stood his ground good enough, but he did miss some points and went off the rails a few times. I'll give his performance a 7.8 out of 10. Trump compared his record with Kamala's, called out Biden's absence, and said what he would do to address issues.
Kamala did better than I expected, but failed to address the border, foreign relations, or the economy like Trump did in a meaningful way. She came off overly emotional and a bit too bitchy. I'll give her a 4. Moderators were biased and it showed, they didn't ask questions in a productive manner.
The only good thing I can say is her stance on abortion was more appealing to people. However, Kamala lied and said he wanted to ban abortion nationwide. Trump did say that basically killing a viable fetus, a baby, is wrong and states should not allow surgical abortions extremely late which I agree with.
Trump should have laid out his position on abortion and called for red states like Texas and Florida to be less restrictive and more reasonable on exceptions or allow them voluntarily sometime within the first two months of pregnancy. Hell, most abortions are through medication within a few weeks.
