There is an endless amount of prophecies that Jews interpret into the Torah, but the ones I am talking about are the straight forward ones that most of them believe.Eh, there are prophecies about babies being tossed against rocks in the Old Testament? That is the gentiles will ravage Jerusalem? Nearly all Jewish prophecies either refer to persecution or it’s a subtext of prior experience.
There is a big difference between a prophecy in Christianity and Judaism, Jews try to hasten the coming of the Messiah meaning they try actively make prophecy happen. They have to be the agents of Hashem and prophecies are more of a plan or goal for them to reach.
And my favorite Kiwi Jew has explained the mainstream perspective of what has to happen to Edom in the end times.

Judaism doesn't, Judaism is all about wining no matter what. Also so what? Christianity and Islam(and Judaism) valorize the concept of martyrdom. Victory through death, and through the commitment to one’s witness.
That is true and it seems equally true among all of them.Christians and Muslims have experienced persecution historically, as have Jews. So it figures martyrdom and (worldly) defeat would figure into it.
I guess Gamaliel and Paul just loved the idea of getting the Romans who destroyed their temple to worship a Jew.So what would be the point of Jesus? He's not a heathen. He's not even European. What would be the point of it?
