This sort of person isn't too far out of the norm for deviantart ( or anywhere on the internet.)

Ive noticed being self-absorbed, or unable to take criticism about one's fan art, fanfiction, or gaming skills is not at all uncommon.

Idk for a lolcow there needs to be more. Perhaps if he advocates rounding up all gays and women to put them in FEMA camps, Insists Obama is a Muslim socerer in charge of the New World Order, or behaves in a publically absurd, dangerous, or idiotic way, that, that my friend, is a lolcow.

Well it's not that he can't take criticism or that he's self-absorbed; that's standard. What is out of the ordinary is how he treats perfectly innocent potential fans just because they do not or are unable to upload art to their own accounts, and that somehow the fact that non-artists favorite his art "damages" and "insults" him in some way, and bizarrely, he believes someone saving someone else's art to their harddrive instead of favoriting it is preferable. This super-puritanical, OCD-type concept that DA is only for artists CRANKED UP TO ELEVEN, is actually quite uncommon on the site. It's the first time I've run into it, and I've been on DA for 9 years now. I've never seen other people that think DA is only for artists behave in this manner to non-artists favoriting their work.

From what I can tell, he mainly doesn't bother talking to them, unless he finds something wrong with their art. Mostly just the ones that don't have art.

That is amazingly sad. I mean, if you're autistic enough to devote your life to the Internet, at least pick something other than the laughingstock dumping ground of art repositories.

The sad part is he's too young, inexperienced, and autistic to know or realize just what a laughingstock Deviantart actually is. Otherwise he'd never have developed his "Deviantart is srs biznez" attitude.
