I'll keep it straightforward-- the current woke/academic understanding of sex and relationships is a fucking joke. We're here to bitch, share thoughts, and tinfoil on topics ranging from polygamy, monogamy, prostitution, buttfucking, etc.

I'll start: I think Polygamy/Polyamory is just an excuse for people not to feel like whores and adulterers while fucking other people while in a committed relationship. I think the same way about open relationships to an extent. The one person who makes the demand to open it quickly chimps out because their partner isn't waiting on the couch for them anymore. Usually getting laid far more than them.

And yes, they're degenerates & sex pests (both). Polygamy is not legal in the US I believe.
 
I see my mistake. Its the same in my mind after watching Sister Wives (he was only legally married to one.)
Either way, both are equally parasitic. Polygamy just included a lot of Christian cults and pedophiles.
 
I dislike both but it would be interesting to see the overlaps in something like a Mormon polygamists justifications and polyamorous people's. I'd bet they're very similar, one just tries to use a religious angle and one doesn't.

More or less, from what I've seen, they're the same without the breeding fetish on the polyamory side. I've also noticed there's an obsession with pushing the "nature" angle. Pretty much, we're all just animals, and it's completely normal to be a whore in nature. Idk I think it's pretty funny that they're comparing themselves to literal chimps and monkey prostitution while having a superiority complex. Idk, man, it looks like some Neanderthal shit to me.

There are a lot of animal species that are monogamous so the nature angle never made sense to me. Wolves pair bond and only go for a new mate if they're still young enough to reproduce in the case theirs dies, doves, love birds, some geese, iirc jackals also, and the list goes on. So it's a question on whose nature are you talking about. Outcomes are better across the board for people who come from intact mom and dad households so it's pretty obvious which is better imo.

I met a person who parents were polyamorist/swingers, and that kid was beyond neglected and fucked in the head. They had a revolving door of fuck buddies, and everything came down to them, their kid, and whoever they were sleeping with. The kid’s birthday parties were literally a meetup for polys. Dude pretty much cut ties, and moved cross-country.
Children need stability, a two parent household is the best option. If not, their primary caretaker shouldn’t have a revolving door of men or women. That results in unhealthy attachments and abandonment issues.

Evidence would suggest we do not pair-bond like birds. Also note that science used to just be called "natural philosophy". Monogamy is great when it works, which is very occasionally.
 
Serial monogamy seems to be the most natural. Humans definitely don't mate for life like some animals, but also don't have harems and fuck wildly without inhibition. Retards will point out polygamy or concubines or whatever from historical records or say retard shit like the human population skews towards a larger number of women, and conveniently leave out that, while women do outnumber men, it is by like 2%, and the primary reason for this is because women tend to live longer, so the excess female population tends to be beyond child bearing age. Additionally, they will also neglect to mention the fact that most historical records of men having harems or concubines or whatever are of the upper class of society, and the vast majority of people still practiced serial monogamy.

Basically, the thing that feels most natural is, surprisingly, probably the most natural thing. Stay with a partner for a while, and then move on when you're no longer feeling it.
 
Eh, I think it's important to remember that people cheat/sleep around for reasons that are a long list of things that rarely ever have to do with just "mating". A lot of people cheat to get back at their partners, to feel young again, because they actually like doing it as a thing itself for some fucked up reason, etc. We are more complex in our behaviors than other animals. Sleeping around outside an established relationship usually serves some other abstract, psychological need rather than just a desire for sex for its own sake, and if things have cooled down in the bedroom of their relationship a lot of people are actually dishonest until you really needle at them for the reasons that it's that why and how they could fix it. People are messy like that.
 
I don't really care about sex or relationships, I want time to develop my hobbies and learn skills.

I don't need a housewife I am my own housewife and I bake pies your wife would be jealous of.

Hot take (perhaps?): Sex is much better with a long time partner you love. Shit out of porn like gangbangs and fucking a girl you met 5 minutes ago aren't really fulfilling. I had an ex of 4 years, and while I don't really miss her, we did break up for a good reason, the sex was God-tier. All one time flings after that have been a pale and lame imitation.

While I don't want everyone to live in Nick Fuentes White Sharia medieval peasant society where you're married at 13 until death...I certainly understand how modern one night stand culture creates broken people and how having one partner you love is vastly superior choice.
