Reading these summaries, I almost thought I was starting to feel bad for Ralph but really it was just a sense of disgust over the way our legal system functions.

I'm also curious how the Ralphamale plans to tackle the situation. It's not an automatic L, but there's a reason we don't hear "Thank God my court appointed lawyer was a rock star." And we can assume Ralph also knows this based what came out of that zoom hearing (Assuming it's legit).

So does he have money (x) AND enough common sense to have his paperwork look legitimate? Is he going to turn on a pile of random papers? There's also the caveat that he wrote down his income as 75k on court docs for the revenge porn case.

There are so many things he's going to have to carefully navigate on a fucking simple administrative related task because he can't fathom not being pigmad on the web.

The funniest part is, regardless if that financial statement gets and he's assigned the court appointed lawyer, he's going to get laughed at for being poor. I eagerly anticipate how he rationalizes this.

I suspect, in addition to Vicker's actual antagonistic acts, Ralph has a running commentary in his own head that stops him from genuinely considering his options.

What do I mean by that? Say Ralph starts to consider shutting up, just to make this stop. In his head the moment he starts to consider that he sees/hears Vickers gloating in victory, taunting him in all the ways he'd hate most. Naturally this sends him into a rage and he begins a hollerin.

This also speaks to his constant inebriation. He needs to be perpetually drunk/high in order to drown out the voices in his head. Based on his Pillstream ramblings this rarely has the desired effect anymore. Instead of drowning out the voices it merely unshackles them from any semblance of reason or what little shred of inhibition Ralph might posses. Additionally his constant consumption of substances results in a catch 22 wherefore he consumes additional substances to at least mitigate the side effects of other substances, e.g. smokes weed to make the hangover from being drunk more bearable.

I get that but at a certain point it's not them who are free of him but him who is free of them. Even if he's legally removed as a father that doesnt change biology.

Consider that when Xander turns 18 (or maybe 21 depending on specific laws) he's bound to want to know who his dad is. Nothing could legally stop him from contacting Ralph at that point and it would be a toss up as to whether he blames Ralph for failing to be there for him or blames Vickers for pushing Ralph away with all of this petty legal bullshit.

Of course its equally likely both Vickers and Ralph will be dead before Xander comes of age, but I doubt Ralph thinks that far ahead anyway.

As far as his ego and audience, both are historically assuaged by a good cope/rationalization. If he merely hollers that the Vickers are abusing the legal system to harass him and ruin his life, I suspect it would pass muster for that crowd. Furthermore taking a "fuck the law" approach and embracing life as a bonafide outlaw would also appeal to his audience and ego. He could claim he's bigger than the law and it wont hold him back or shut him up. Since all the cope about living in Mexico worked so well this isnt much more of a stretch.

Honestly I suspect the one thing that is genuinely stopping him from taking this route is that he would no longer be able to organize his dumb wrestling and bowling events, or if he did they'd have to be on foreign soil.

My understanding is that The Gunt's rights to visitation are seperate from paying Child Support. He gets to see Xander as spelled out in the agreement whether he pays child support or not. Since the one and only visitation in October he's been saying that he's been kept from seeing Xander but what's really going on is that he just hasn't been going because he's not allowed to take pics of Xander because FaiFai doesn't trust The Gunt to not post them on the internet. And because he would've gotten served.

A question I have is "could Ralph post pics of Xander if he put a blue dot over Xander's face in the pics?",

As far as Vickers and Xander, I think he might get away with that because Matt seems to be on a path to having The Gunt's presence in Xander and FaiFai's lives to be strictly legally controlled, like the visitation agreement The Gunt has to see Xander.

About December of 2021 Ralph was prepared to divest himself of Xander and even wrote the court a letter that basically said "MAH SUN WILL COM FIND ME WHEN HE IS OF AGE. AH'M CONCENTRATING ON MAH UNBORN DAUGHTER AND HER LIFE NOW!".

Then a couple of things happened:

1. HE was allowed to get away with not pleading guilty on the revenge porn charges which emboldened him with the "GOD'S PLAN!" BS. Even though he was convicted of that crime he gets to gloss over it because he didn't have to admit his guilt.

2. Jim guilted him with all the "You're a deadbeat dad!" stuff in front of the trad audience The Gunt has been courting since he hooked up with AF. Including a line of merch that proclaimed "I spent more on this merch than The Gunt spent on his son!". And since Daddy Jim lives and talks to The Gunt 24/7 he cannot let this go.
