You’re thinking of Jerry Marzinsky. Here’s his book. He’s made me rethink my casual lifelong dismissal of these topics.

Basically, he was a psychologist at multiple state mental hospitals, and treated thousands of schizophrenics; far more than most mental health pros see in a career.

He noticed some patterns about the voices that schizophrenics hear, and started trying to help the patients resist them. Fascinating story, but he eventually became convinced these voices were not coming from inside the schizophrenics’ heads.

I've heard about this guy before, he's more convincing than you think.

Anyway, if you get possessed/haunted by demons, you probably fucked around and found out with some shit you shouldn't have been doing. If you've already damned yourself to hell, I bet the demons get a free pass to come fuck with you before you die.

Given the age in which we live, direct demonic possession strikes me as very rare. Most people worship Satan as the god of the world. It does happen, you hear about in pentecostal services from time to time.

Can you verify it? Well I haven't ever seen it, but I do believe it.
