I love the "grow" lines on the man in the tub.

He almost exclusively draws pictures of furry characters in scuba gear.

I read this first as "furry chickens in scuba gear". And now I want to see that.
 
Maan, DeviantART and its magnetism for autistic or just really bad art and writing.
Makes me feel bad because there are some users here that draw some really great art and they post it in DeviantART.

I just found this guy not too long ago. As it turns out, he loves photoshopping characters so they have big bellies. You can see the pieces he stole from shows very easily, everything else has shitty MS paint lines with no shading. It would make me laugh on how bad it is, if it weren't for the fact that he's done several edits to underaged characters, one of which is 7 years old.

Not related to art, but is anyone tired of those readerxcanon character stories that are written in second person pov? I never finish reading them because it's like they are just skipping the Mary Sue and going straight to the self insertion and they ALWAYS make the front page. It use to be Hetalia, but now I see a lot of Loki. Which makes me ashamed because I like Loki too, but for God's sake has any of these fangirls read the Norse myths or did research on the comics. HE HAS A WIFE.
 
If find those things creepy as shit. A bunch of people in the same writing groups as me submit them and I shudder a little bit every time I see them.
A lot of the fandom populars are pretty shitty people on that site.
One I used to follow ardently on that site was Angi-Shy who used to post creepy furry porn that she just censored lightly. She also denied it was furry and it was ANGI STYLE which looked a little bit like the art style from Animaniacs. That and there's VampireMeerkat who did redesigns for older Ed Edd n Eddy characters and basically made it so you had to ask permission if you wanted to draw her adaptions of the characters.(They leave much to be desired, Double D had ridiculously long hair...) She also wants to make Ed Edd n Eddy High School as well as the fact she keeps this really spergy Ed Edd n Eddy wikia which has all the fanon shit in it.

Then there's the crossover gang who draw and write dumb shit. Like there's a guy who litterally draws his OC spanking or pantsing female cartoon characters.

The site from my like 6 years or whatever there has and is a real fuckin' shit pit.
 
I'm almost relieved that I never come across people like these on DA...except for the couple of times I get my art faved by someone. I generally tend to take a quick look at their pages, especially if it's not someone I know, and sometimes...yeah. I've drawn pictures of one of my friend's characters pregnant, an innocent picture, but it got faved by two people (besides the intended recipient): one had a bunch of faves of pregnant women, and the other appeared to be into inflation art, judging by how that was EVERYTHING they faved. So glad I don't tend to run across them, not even in some of the groups I'm in.

And no, I don't know what it is about DA that draws these people either, since there are other free art sites out there, like SheezyArt.

It's the same reason you'll see more freaks in New York City or San Francisco than a place like Tulsa. When you have a big tent, you tend to attract a bunch of clowns.
