Good riddance. Hooooly fuck that shit was horrifying. Literally after the first panel I lost immersion knowing these types of people would never survive a real apocalypse. The rape comic was also harrowing to see.

I would disagree with that. There are somewhat skilled people making games that pull thousands a month on patreon. The issue is that they are often addicted to the same pornography which they create. Most successful games die when their developer falls ill as a result of late stage porn addiction and the disregard for basic needs(like eating, exercising, and sleeping) that come with it.

Most cumbrain artists also tend to get bogged down by simply the nature of porn addiction. As you watch (or in this case, create) more porn, you become addicted to more extreme stuff, and with the case of fetishism more extreme variations of that fetish. The art I posted earlier is kind of a relevant example. That artist probably started out being into just slightly chubby girls but at 26 he’s into women who take up as much space as a literal orca.

What I’m saying is if you’re making a porn game, you’re going to get bogged down by a sort of sexual feature creep where you’re continuously making the fetish aspect more extreme for your own goals.

I don't understand what the guy is going for. Cottage cheese legs and arms, while normal on morbidly obese women, aren't perceived as attractive on anyone, but they are added. Expanded nipples/areola with spherical and perky breasts, while desired by some men are not a characteristic of real fat women,
but they are added.
It's like the guy is trying to bring in unrealistic fat fetishists and deliberately make them uncomfortable while appealing to what they want.

i don't think this guy is a regular fat fetishist

usually fat fetish guys go the opposite route, their fetish stems from liking bigger girls and they take it to an absolute extreme but their girls are still functional, all running along the beach at 600 pounds with absurd curves still looking all cute and shit, they don't like to think of them as being sick or unhealthy, they just like them big... really big...

these guys are clearly into the prospect of the health damage done to these girls, they like to know that their hearts are hurting and their knees are buckling, they like to think of the sores caused by 24/7 sitting and the near immobility
this isn't just "i like em big" knocked up to 11, this is something else entirely

i wonder if it's similar to the wonderbread guy situation... maybe this began as a statement, about obesity and overconsumption, and turned into a sexual fetish, or at least a fixation of sorts
maybe he's not into the girls, but rather a sense of justice, knowing these gluttons are suffering for their bad life choices and he gets pleasure in seeing them get their comeuppance

What fascinates me so much about the health fetish art is the weird fixation on realism. It just feels like such a weird and almost sadistic way to go about the fetish. It’s kind of like people who fetishize gore and snuff. They’re into the dehumanization that destroying the wrecking the life and health of another person brings (although one is slower than the other).
