Show: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
Episode: 8
Year: 2017

Writer(s): Evan Thaler Hickey
Director(s): Andrew Duncan, Johnny Darrel

Why? Why did Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs need a cartoon series? I like the original movie alright, it isn't that special but it's something that had decent animation and expanded upon the children's book in a creative way. It's nothing I would watch again unless I'm desperate though. I heard the sequel did really poorly a few years ago, so how did this get greenlit? Beyond the popularity of Phil Lord and Chris Miller of course, who barely have anything to do with this show! Because the original cast was made up of celebrities like the majority of Dreamworks films it's tried to be, none of them could reprise their roles for this schlock; not like they could anyways because it's made in CANADA!

This thing is supposed to act like a prequel to the original film before Flint Lockwood made it rain food in Swallow Falls, but by doing the you take away the very principle of the original source material! The raining food in Swallow Falls was its main draw, it was the main draw of the book! What they did was basically made a Jimmy Neutron knockoff as a show since they couldn't just reuse the food aspect at all! And honestly Flint and Sam are much worse here than in the original movie, because here they try too hard to have that perky Teen energy that you see in stupid Disney sitcoms! All of the characters seem like cardboard cutouts compared to their original selves (not like they were very strong to start with) and in some cases are more obnoxious like today's star, Baby Brent!

Structurally this episode is about on the same level as a lot of the clichè babysitting episodes where a character tries to earn money for some stupid shit by babysitting even though they have no actual experience with babies with one key difference: Flint and Sam are babysitting AN ADULT! I get the joke with Brent in the original movie is he's a washed-up child star from back when he was a baby in that sardine commercial, but he worked there since he didn't overstay his welcome, his animation was nice and fluid and he actually played a decent role in growing up (sort of). Here he's actually really creepy needing a babysitter at his age, he's the exact same age as Flint and Sam, especially since he doesn't transition well in ToonBoom Harmony at all, the animation almost eerily seems to copy Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero... I never saw that show but I heard it was highly underrated.

Anyways, this entire episode is Brent doing everything he can to be a fat obnoxious baby fuck to Flint and Sam, all so they can get $50 to get some stupid weather Board Game! Flint is an Inventor! Can't he just sell the patent to one of his inventions? Why don't any of these inventors in cartoons ever think to do this? That way when they malfunction it's not their problem and they can avoid any responsibility for its failure since they dint own it anymore! There's no need to degrade yourself for this fat tub of lard! Not to mention, I find Brent really creepy with how far he takes this baby thing, even going around in nothing but a diaper and throwing tantrums! It's almost like they WANT to piss off the ABDL community! Nevermind the fact that they don't get to Brent until the last five minutes of the episode!

Normally when a show like Chowder or The Loud House makes references to this fetish, they do so in a way that is relatively subtle. I can't prove or disprove at least one person on the staff of these shows might have these fetishes, but it's a weird coincidence. At the very least they didn't bring real attention to it and its not noticeable by much. And not everybody does this for a sexual thrill or goes full baby, like myself. Every time I see or hear Brent I just cringe up in the worst way! About the only thing he doesn't do to Flint or Sam is make them change his weird TARDIS diaper! And in the end he doesn't even pay them REAL MONEY for their humiliation just to crush their souls one last time! And this won't be the last time I tackle this show either, there's one more episode I wanna do before putting this behind me!

Does... Does he think that the Loud House having a character that's an infant is somehow count as a diaper fetish?

You know, it's funny how Regulas says he isn't a pedo yet he has diaper art of underage characters such as Applebloom and Tails in his favorites.

What makes Family Gay so terrible isn't the fact that Peter becomes gay via genetic injection and Learns being gay not a choice; going by Cartoon logic and the effects intending to be temporary from the start that's a given and that's par for Family Guy even at its best. No the real horror comes from the implications of the opposite idea, the idea of a cure for homosexuality being as easy as injecting someone!

Most who criticize this episode seem to only focus on the idea of BECOMING GAY to learn it's not a choice, but that's the joke! Peter willingly subjected himself to these gene altering experiments that alter his makeup, and he becomes gay regardless of any choice he might've made. Remember this injection like all the others was INTENDED to be temporary. So rewlly you should be angry at the exactly opposite idea.

I mean if I became homosexual from an injection it wouldn't change who I AM; but if I was LGBT and I injected to become straight it would FUCK ME UP!

God I love talking about this guy.

Show: Kid Vs. Kat
Episode: 43a
Year: 2011

Writer(s):
Director(s):

Ok, from what I can gather about this show from what little I've seen, Kid vs. Kat was apparently YTV’s answer to Bad Dog. Y'know, that show about an evil dog that tormented people for shits and giggles and always made an ass out of his tormentors? Otherwise known as the show based off a shitty desktop? Let's change the dog into a cat and make him an alien! There's definitely potential for something like this; I mean, Disney made a movie about alien cats! Unfortunately, the show suffers from very similar problems in that not only does Kat make his owner Cooper “Coop” Burtonbuger's life utter hell, but he manages to make Coop look like an asshole or a monster by putting the blame for his evil actions on him! This is the principal formula of every single episode! And despite Kat being an alien cat, he can't even talk, which makes little sense since the alien hamster we sometimes see can talk!

Yes, we have another show in our midst where the villain always wins! The good guy isn't even that good by comparison only by virtue of him not wanting to conquer earth, but just being a dick! So really, it's more like The Cramp Twins! This episode in particular shows just how bad the dynamic between Kid and Kat really is. Coop is forced to spend time with his little sister Millie because he's an asshole that refuses to pay attention to her. I should also point out that Kat seems to genuinely love Millie, and she can be just as bad as Coop at times because she lets out an ear-piercing scream to get her way! She essentially blackmails her dick brother into hanging out with her, which he also finds ways around so he can just ignore her as much as possible, so nobody is in the right in this scenario!

Of course, a lot of this abandonment is, of course, because of Kat! He's apparently built a telepathy helmet that lets him move shit with his mind out of an old hairdryer, and Coop thinks it's smart to attack him with a stick... y'know, whenever Dib tries to stop Zim at this sort of thing, he's actually smart about his tactics even when he loses and he's, y'know, actually in the right! This show largely does try to pull off what Invader Zim did, but the characters aren't nearly as memorable, the impossibilities are unforgivably weak even for a show like this, not to mention the animation is stiff in places.

So to give this episode conflict because an evil cat isn't enough, Millie takes the helmet! And for some reason, she's better at using it than Kat! Or rather, it explodes and gives her telekinetic powers and Bride of Frankenstein hair. Even when Gaz gets ahold of alien technology and tends to use it well, she tends to do things like crash the escape pod or need Gir to assist. And another thing… how the FUCK does nobody notice what Kat's up to? In Invader Zim, it makes sense because the majority of humanity is INTENTIONALLY depicted as stupid! The Fairly OddParents in later seasons also suffers from this exact problem, by the way. The answers to all of Millie's wishes just FALL RIGHT OUTTA THE SKY! And she doesn't even realize her hair's all staticky and shit doing this!

There don't even seem to be any real limits to Millie's powers. What should only levitate stuff make her out to be a god! In fact, this climatic battle between her and Kat that threatens to shatter space and time is pulled off WAY WORSE than what Dragon Ball Super did for Goku's battle against Beerus! For some reason, her powers AREN’T mental manipulation, but tied to her emotions now! And in order to prevent the apocalypse, Coop has to play with Millie! What ultimately does get rid of Millie's godlike powers is beyond insulting and simplistic! Something like this really should've been a double-length episode, there's a million things you can do with a little kid who has godlike powers! But Millie is such a brat that I'm not wishing for her powers to go away to save anybody, but so the episode can just end!

Around the time of the second season for Kid vs. Kat, it was put into the graveyard slot to die on Disney XD… for a very good reason. You can easily call this Mr. Pickles Jr. with none of the gore, ugliness or even creativity to the chaos the evil animal commits. Mr. Pickles went beyond all the way with its madness, and that's why it was so bad; this barely even uses its potential and comes off as a cheap cash-grab. In Bad Dog, at the very least the evil dog changed up his victim each episode, but here, the constant barrage of torment to Coop is just boring! It doesn't help I can't enjoy Coop or his little sister either!
