Wow, that's some impressive improvement. I take it the first one was drawn five minutes before he discovered the curve tool, and the second five minutes after he discovered the curve tool.

It's rare that I see the "before" look so much better than the "after", which isn't saying much in this case, but still.

The first one just needs a rounded head, bigger fists, and shorter legs. Outside of that it's actually superior to the second one in every other way.
 
I don't know about these two... They're not complete shite artists like most of the fuckers on here (Well, that's mostly true for the first artist I'm showing off...); However, I feel the need to highlight these, anyway.

Everything else seems semi-competent for your particular MLP-fan, as in decent, but not a lot of prowess to speak of, in terms of art skills.

I'll say this much: outside of that questionable picture, the first artist ain't too bad; the second one seems like someone to keep a concerning eye on, however.

Meet Matthew Cipolla. He's a real piece of work.
He's got a fox furry character he calls 'Andrew'. But it's really just Todd the Fox (as a child, no less) pasted onto a bodybuilder.

Apparently he also stalks female students on his campus, and has been held back a grade. He used to have a selfie up on his Deviantart but I don't see it anymore.

Feel free to look at the horrorshow that is his DA. I've tainted my computer enough saving what I already have. Dude's had his account for only a year, but he's posted 611 deviations. That's almost 2 pictures a day - and god knows how many freaky videos.

A good way to find quality cringe is to type "MS Paint" in the search bar and click the "Newest" button.

Even before Wix acquired Deviantart I've been wondering if anyone cares about the cost of the servers holding these terabytes of horror. DA never seems to care their site is treated like a slightly less shit Photobucket, is it just the sheer volume of crap that makes them give up at being staff?

Probably, they just look at all the fetishes, wish fullfilment and assorted autism and just sigh before admitting defeat.

Then again, from what I've read, the people who run the site are just as autistic as their userbase, so who knows what the real answer to that question is.

I read their rules and they allow multiple accounts and roleplaying which is the exact opposite of professional

I believe multiple accounts date back to the time when proper groups/clubs didn't exist. You had to make an ordinary account and do things like list members in journals and favorite approved submissions. And then people started making special emotes and reaction icons as user icons so there's that, too.
