He made an entire fantasy world revolving around vore called Felarya. The art is incredible, but the writing and character building is just subpar. Felarya isn't as popular as it was back in 2007-2014, but if you look at the fanbase, you'll find that they go to spectacular lengths to morally justify their characters eating other people alive and digesting them. Most of the OCs are essentially mary sues.

The reason it caught on was because it attracted not only a lot of voraphiles, but edgy misanthropes who wanted another excuse to rag on and on about how terrible humanity was compared to their oh-so-perfect OC.

Long story short, Felarya was Drowtales levels of wasted potential.

There's even a wiki for Felarya which hasn't seen any activity in months.

I remember running into a few Felarya spergs that would try to tell me that the story was apparently "so much more than vore", but usually refused to provide any examples. I managed to get my hands on reading a second hand copy and found myself a little disappointed- the art is great, but everything else is a disaster. I think Karbo should have hired a competent writer. Then again, writing about giants who eat people in a light hearted way would be quite difficult to pull off. I think a bag of self awareness would've helped tremendously.

The Wiki itself, to my knowledge, was mostly operated by fans who would add in things related to their Felarya fanfiction (yes, that's an actual thing) and Karbo just kinda went along with it.

Self awareness was the only thing that could have made Felarya tolerable.

I say we scour through the abandoned wreckage of the Felarya wiki and make fun of a few characters. Or we could just overanalyze some OCs.

I read some of the tomes (that's what he calls them). There's one where the main character says it's okay to bathe humans in hydrochloric acid since they've come to Felarya out of greed. And her human friend wholeheartedly agrees with her while her human brethren die in agony in the main character's stomach. Most of the human characters are straight-up stupid and depicted as horrible people just for having a few prejudiced opinions. It tries to have a message stating "Don't treat other people like monsters because they're different", when it's pretty damn hard to do so when they murder casually.

And yes, Karbo says she's a complicated character because she has a TRAGIC PAST. It takes more than a homicidal maniac with a flimsy excuse to build up a likeable character. Even if it's a fantasy world.

Not long ago, a heard a discussion about ethics in Felarya, where this one person constantly stated that the giants weren't accountable for their actions since they had "alien morals", and kept going on about how deep and philosophical Felarya was because it "challenged traditional heroic stereotypes".

If you made it through my autistic rant about some french dude's has-been fetish land, i salute you.

There are some pre-2010 things that ought to stay buried.

It took me a while to realize that mettaton is holding alphy’s tongue, not bar of soap. Also why are they giant? Is asriel impairing her body via brain like it’s fucking M. Night Shamallama’s “Split”?

I admit some of the stuff he favorites is much better (for cartoon-related stuff, anyway.). Hopefully, he is just a kid (he has no age listed on his main page and he clearly seems to like what he's doing...), so someday he'll do what it takes to truly get good at this (even if I have some doubt in me, but whatever.), again - he clearly likes what he's doing.

i was discussing this with @GethN7 in pm on discord and told this story. prepare for something horrifying.

i remember a sonic sperg that stirred some drama on DA and wikia. his name was I0LOVE0AMY0ROSE

he was some guy obsessed with amy rose like paulandamy and behaved kinda rabbid on both sites. he was drawing naked pictures of the character.

but the WORST thing people are saying that he's done is his pairing that he made. its....

Magenta-zahra: all you really need to know about her is in her 23+ journals of rage and self pity.

MariTheRealOne: she's 15 and has already has five accounts in the past year due to self inflicted drama.
She has a love hate obsession with AkaiDalia and by that I mean she emulates the style and uses her fancharacters but otherwise has a hate boner for her. She recently got through a drama fest when it came to light that she has a futaba fetish but think trans people are just like the futas in the hentai she reads. She's a self professed transmansexual and used to want to be trans but realized she just wants a penis and tits. Also..she looooooves transpeople!!! And loathes anything hetero.

Basically, shes an asexual cripple who believes non virgins can't be raped, lesbians are actually bisexuals in denial, only men should masturbate, women don't actually feel sexual pleasure (we're brainwashed into thinking we do) women who have sex for fun are slaves to men and lust, non virgins who have sex for any other reason that procreation are more stupid than virgins and less self sufficient and she's spent her DA career re-writing Fullmetal alchemist..but with everybody's sex swapped.
