As shown in that picture about Abenobashi, he hates the original comics, or at least the cartoon based on them. In these sorts of pictures (which he has many variants of), the "Marathon Version" is rooting for the thing he hates.

Simon really got hit hard here. His hands are backwards and his eyes are wonky. Must be all those times Dracula and him had a tussle.
