Look say what you want about Warren Ellis who is also a religion basher he's been been one longer than Shankar even, going back to transmetroplian in the 90s. But Ellis knew what nuance is and he kept his bashing (in the early days) to mega churches and scam religious and trendy new age ones that were popping up at the time.


There's actual clever commentary in early transmetroplitian stories that hold up even to this day better than what the hacks behind Castlevania came up with. which pretty much amounts to "trust science, God is dead...ps have gay Alucard blonde boy in a bisexual threesome, you're welcome...peons!"

To give some leeway for Vivziepop's shows (don't know shit about Baldur's Gate 3), the denizens of Hell subject to being victims of any sort of genocide are human souls who died on earth, so its not regular demons. Even then, the majority of demons seen in the show are pretty evil as much as she wants to convince that they are good.

Though at least Vivziepop and the team behind Baldur's Gate (since I assume if they did, it would be talked about more) didn't try to make the demons an allegory for real minorities and ry to make the fucking US Government somehow more evil than the biggest evil demons because Adi Shankir wanted to make his DMC show a period piece about the War on Terror with heavyhanded "HUMANS R DA REAL MONSTERS".

From what I've heard over the years, monster girls (and boys) are very popular in the United States and that's not counting furfags. Nobody in Capcom or in Japan really cares about BoF is a monkey's paw best left untouched.

Episode 2 was a lot better. The fights were good, the music was nice and very straightforward pacing. Nothing politically charged in this.

I really love the darkcom unit. It's straight up a bunch of 90s designer anti hero's in captain commando power armor commanded by Batman. They even have a female clone Nightwing.

I can't be mad at this fanfic shit. I just can't. Even if they are all chicks and minorities. I totally eat up spook spec ops crap where they have special bullets and tech for taking out demons.

Its cool to see Dante mop the floor with regular humans, and I liked the fight against lady. She wins, but it's a combo of fighting smart and dirty with the power armor and dante intentionally holding back from killing her.

Yeah I figured . Honestly, I thought the ending for season 4 was legit Catholic and inspiring. Yeah you had to get through some real shit in season 2 and 3 but I thought the ending made it all work surprisingly.

I'm pretty sure baldurs gate hell is legit evil, they just cursed a bunch of regular people to look like demons for shits and giggles.


The Japanese have been doing this forever too, they just do it better. Frankly they need to establish a separate terminology for the demons and the DEMONs, if they ever make a season 2.

I would like to legit discuss his body of work and see what his worst and best projects are. I've only seen Castlevania and it would be interesting to see what themes he consistently pushes and the writers he works with.
