Dev is dealing with the death of his worldview. He knows that everything he believed is crashing down on him. The positions he had, are now being put into practice, and he is seeing the result. But he cannot divorce himself from them. Because that would mean, he would need a real job, that he would have to lose the weight and above all that would mean he would have to stop cooming to failed men. And he can't do any of that, because that would prove his Dad right.

Heck, when the Canadian Truckers protest was happening he announced that he's making a video about the truckers where he would reveal all the acts of violence the truckers did to the passers by, showing that every protest has bad people in it so we should not obsess over ANTIFA/BLM protests as only a small minority of those where violent.

In the end, he never put out the video.

Maybe he's just easily led. Now that he's off the Sargonian Skeptic leash and has lost Scrump as a sort of foil, he's being influenced by whatever little Twitter trans clique he's found himself in. After all, it's not as though he had much of a personality to begin with.

He mentioned things that make his "centrist" argument look better. But there is a war here in Europe. Few years back there was a drought in my country. It is really bad time for this kind of shit when there is threat of famine. Price of food is going up due to inflation – lot of low income household have trouble making ends meet. Eneregy cost will double this year. All it takes is to few more things to go south - another drought, flods or other "act of god" type event and things will get funny.

"Rightoid and leftoid" is his poor attempt to sound unbiased by using derogatory language – this is fucking cringe when I do it, but I don't talk about politics for living... I thing lot of people have problem with heavy handed interventions from government. These things often turn out badly regardless of intent.

I like how only a year ago, Devon was sperging out about how his thread had absolutely nothing to go off of and that the thread would totally die out. While it certainly doesn’t move 100 posts per day like Keffals’s thread, it still receives occasional updates to point out some of Devon’s latest nonsense. It’s especially funny whenever some of his videos earn some pushback, and he gets incredibly defensive in the comments.

Say what you will about Sargon He at least developed and learned from his success and failures. Dev just kind of sits in place, going nether forward nor back.

Not to mention he seams to cut all connections to Sargon, Dankula etc. Was he ever actually anything more than just a commenter under there Twitter feeds? I know he used to say they are friends, but it doesn't look like it now.

Tim Pool is honestly much less of a fence sitter than Dev at this point. Tim at the very least is somewhat consistent on certain issues and more or less never complements the establishment dems at this point. Dev on the other hand basically plays defense for every single prog cause while ignoring his comments section big time.

To repeat what I said earlier I'm fairly sure he will end up being a shitty breadtuber sooner or later.

What about Vee, the human incarnation of squeaky dog toy? If I remember correctly he is married and bought house recently if I remember correctly. Well he is into Vtubers and that doesn't sound too well put together to me. Still better than Dev tho.

I've heard the lotus eaters crew mention him in passing a few times, also Sargon did appear on Dev's podcast once. I think Dev has exaggerated his relationship with Sargon a bit (and now hardly ever brings it up cause it would hurt him for the crowd he's going for) but it wasn't nonexistent.

Not a high bar to clear, Dev probably is probably one of the worst off of the group. Not necessarily doing terribly but it seems like he's been treading water for the past couple of years. Only major change is that instead of having Scrump on his podcast, who could be quite funny, he's brought Lilith on to simp over. If that thread was more active at the moment he'd probably still be whiteknighting around here.

A little late, but Dev posted a Totally Not Mad, response to his video in which he calls out his audience for wanting to purity spiral time based on his Dutch Famers take.
Not really worth watching as he isn't literally crying about being harassed by Nazis, but the video is basically a callout to his right-wing audience members saying that he's not always on their side. He keeps citing himself as an Enlightened Centrist and is trying to play damage control by saying he was always on the left and the Overton window made him seem right wing. How the hell could he blame the overton window shifting on having a bad take wrt closing down large sections of a country's AG sector? Property rights, and basic food security aren't exactly things that the overton window has shifted on as far as I'm aware...?
