Dev represents a cultural bloc (skeptic community types) that were far more influential 10-20 years ago. The soyience types, the classic Redditor types, but while much of the world has moved on, they're still trying the same things they have always tried but have since been shown to be worthless? Like how the Amazing Atheist won't ever let go or ever acknowledge his hypocrisy.

We know the "moral principles" of these people begin and end with whatever new thing they ram into their butthole. Being a retard sperg for Ukraine won't ever change that. Supporting "the current thing" doesn't suddenly make me forget that you took a picture of yourself holding a dragon dildo for god-knows-why.
 
I updated my previous post in this same page to show that, the whole Dev suspension PROBABLY was due to false flaggin by this nobody chick, hence why he was able to reinstate his account, but who knows at this point, this whole thing smells sussy now.

They never say where the line is because it becomes a "gotcha" used by the left. For example, there's a huge different between Yasuke in Assassins Creed Shadows, and Joshua Fireseed in Turok. How do you dismiss the AC Shadows as woke, without also throwing Turok under the bus? Eventually, you're splitting hairs on a microscopic level and anyone already no on board has given up.

It's like he didn't learn a single thing from his suspension, or him losing those previous accounts. Free speech is nice and all but what has he done with his freedom to speak?

He could be more, for lack of a better word, creative with what he writes on X, or talks about on YouTube. I feel like people have emphasised free speech and vulgarity so much they have lost the skill to be eloquent. Censorship has been a part of society for a very long time so threading the fine line between acceptable and verboten is more admirable than saying "i love free speech niggers".

Both are good, but I don't want to only have one over the other. Too much eloquence, you get stuffy bureaucratic talk. Too much vulgarity, you get barbarian noises.

I think it's a combination of context ie authorial biases and what the product implies. The exact proportion of each idk but I take it as 50/50. If there's a black character with no political undertones created by an apolitical guy chances are it's genuine. If it's a black gay communist created by someone like that, chances are its woke. I think there's a fine difference between huey from the boondocks and the will smith character from fresh Prince. There are times political people will try to pass their characters as apolitical, that's what happened during mccarthyism with dalton trumbo and spartacus but I don't think that frequently happens today.
