I think its less a joke, and more a strategy. There's a reason the overwhelming vast majority of Vtubers are women. If there's a succesfull guy Vtuber, he's either 1. Gay as fuck/a femboi or 2. Posts a shit ton of skill based gaming content like speed runs or doing to rank competative stuff. Meanwhile, a woman can get like a decent 5 to 10k following by just bumbling her way through doom levels so long as she's funny and the algo doesnt fuck them.

Could just be using it for the easy attention hoping people will stick around af they find out he's really a guy. And so long as he's honest about but not mentioning it every day, it might work.

I think the consensus is that he's dropping the 'shortfatotaku' moniker. I don't remember him ever talking about anime or Japanese culture, and he probably wants to move away from the self depreciation of calling himself short and fat.

I'm not too surprised, I've always had the impression that Rags honestly didn't care that much about getting kicked from D&D. Dev always seems to be the one who will sperg the fuck out over it.

I'm not so sure. I watch Arch's podcasts. Or at least I tend to stop in on them from time to time just to see if anything intresting is being talked about. It's been a while since Dev has been on. It feels like its been a good two months since I remeber seeing him. If Arch was really ridding that Dev dollar that hard, I feel like he would have caved and let him on more.

Besides, doesnt his family own some kind of machine shop that makes a ton soing tap and die stuff? So I dont think he needs the dev bucks.
