The problem with modern Centrists is that they have a sqewed idea of what Centrism even is. In theory a centrist listens to both sides of an argument and decides for themselves if they agree or not.

See this kind of thought is the problem with Centrists, implied in that is that people who are not centrists don't think about the arguments presented. How can anyone claim to be one and not have a sky-high ego when by definition you think you are the epic unmoved observer who can see things clearly and anyone who doesn't agree is possessed by ideology and blind. In reality Centrism is a useless term for definition and only serves a rhetorical virtue signaling purpose.

To talk about libertarian/both-sides/free speech types for a second, there was a video I watched a while ago basically explaining how libertarian types are in practice always left wing even if they were honest and not lefties(sfo is not honest he is a lefty) because every time the right does something the libertarians are backed up by the lefties who have a power center in order to stop them but when it's time to stop the left they can't do anything because the right-wing doesn't actually have a power-center and their own ideology stops them from taking the necessary actions to be effective. They even cripple the right-wing reaction instead. So in the end they always serve the people in power.

As for SFO there's no point in talking to him. He has his whole ego staked into this thing and is just concerned about feeding it, there's no way he'll be swayed by argument.
