Even worse, members would upload memes about "sissy hypnosis", and when other users were weirded about it, there were 2 reactions:
a) "do you even know where we are lololz"
b) "it's just a joke bro we aren't srs maybe u are scared becuz are u susceptible to le hypnosis lol!"

What's interesting to me is there are videos from years ago showing the deterioration of his community on Discord, and he has never addressed a single one of those videos.

Refusing to acknowledge criticism is the death knell for a content creator who is particularly reliant on their viewers. Dev paradoxically needs his audience to validate him but will push them away if they don't.

I think 1 aspect of why he won't release the Truckers TM video is that he is massive fucking elitist. I can't remember which livestream with Lilith it was. It was around the time of the start of The Russian invasion of Ukraine. He said he was an Elitist and he didn't care. If he made the Truckers TM video, he would have to attack populism and Centrists love to pretend they hold the popular opinion. Dev's community would completely revolt. His Patreon would collapse. He would have to get a real job then one day his roundish GF will find him hanging from a banister in their apartment building.
I think it was the same stream where Lilith admitted he would never live in a country that didn't pay for his hormones then us in the chat called him out for being a fake libertarian. Dev laughed at him at first then played defense.

I think it's a bit different. Dev doesn't realize his own elitism and dislike of populism, and keep conflating things with his own fake "centrism" which leads to his lukewarm safe takes that no one likes and he deludes himself into thinking are good because "both sides angry so I correct".

His attempts to attack the populist aspect of the Trucker Convoy would inevitably fall flat into a mess of "both sides" "totally innocent mistake, not malicious" "actually you are all wrong and I am right" and "here is why all these people don't actually think what they say they think and actually think something else" as he has done in the past. His constant deflection and refusal to address Biden's dementia until the MSM made it fully authorized to have that take is a good preview of what sort of BS he would pull in such a video, but unlike Biden's dementia it would be far more egregious case of him being a fence sitting coward due to how much closer he is to the fire here.

I am busy dealing with irl shit already so i cannot look at it atm., anybody achived the original version?

You're in luck, I just happened to have downloaded an audio version since I was interested in the Skullgirls fiasco and couldn't find many good videos on it. I'll upload it as soon as someone can tell me how to upload an audio-only mp4.

I checked the next Final Fantasy stream he put up on youtube and sure enough in the first 20 seconds they start talking about the clips:

Personally I'm happy to concede that Naomi was joking, but there's no way you can watch those clips and say in good faith that Dev was taking it as a joke. The dude was seething, he has such incredibly thin skin and his compulsion to address either criticism or people making fun of him reminds me a bit of Pat Tomlinson. Dev's not nearly as bad as Pat, but still.
