Remember communists have great Public relations. They have managed to convince 1/4th to one half that at worst they're just misunderstood and at best are actually the good guys.
Communists will gaslight and spin a situation and have you believing night is day and day is night. This is how they can convince you that killing barely above starving peasants as Kulaks who need to be killed off for the greater good.
I think liberals belive in the idea that the anointed class will save us from all of humanities ills. This is why shitlibs will fall for communist shit and freak out over the right because the right demands they hold to morals and values but to the left being held to a moral standard that isn't do no harm is upsetting because virtues like temperance, patience, and prudence are not liberal values.

Watching arch for nearly a decade... he could try being likeable today, change his entire platform. It wouldn't matter. He wouldn't gain a single friend. He knows that. So he stays a asshole. I think he's just known Dev for so long that he doesn't want to let him go. He's basically known Dev for a decade. I think he does know he's a prick though. And that this is pretty bad. I would say wait and see for now.

I didn't bring this up yesterday, but Arch did comment on Dev's behavior. He said he still considers him a friend, but he does think Dev's retarded for doing these mental gymnastics. The comments are calling for Dev's head though.
