I think it was claimed (but with no absolute proof, AFAIK, just circumstantial at best) that Dev was larping as someone called cameralady.

Been referenced since the beginning of this thread. Also if the timeline is to be believed. Dev would be larping as Cameralady before or around 2014.

Your honor, my I present a counter? Dev is a faggot. We all know this to be true. However, Dev is no ordinary faggot. Dev is a DnD Larper fag. Which is very public. So would it be truly a stretch to believe he has multiple accounts going even long term? Dev is on recording wanting to role play as nazi vampires. That sounds autistic to me your honor. Also Dev is known supporter and defender of gay-ops see his defense of Trout & Tea. Your honor I close with this. I believe the possibility is greater than we think and end on this. Dev recently said on a livestream he knows with 100% certain that DFD was never coming to the Internet. How? Even if Dev has direct contact with this person, would you bet that someone you never meet would stay gone forever unless you knew for certain like you had some control and said person could say rat you out too?

May i add something as well? Dev privates his streams now, and tries to be wishy washy about it, so really one has to log in and record the screen with OBS and not have anything to get in the way in the meantime, and that means hours upon hours to record saucy stuff, because downloading it later is now out of question, someone has to watch him like a hawk when he streams but without subbing which makes it difficult.

Cameralady was a supposed university friend of dev and dave, she was a supposed autistic (i think disabled) fat Mexican lesbian who went to Canada to get a degree in journalism. There was no evidence of cameraladys existence so when the Jim jihad came around in 2017, one of Jim's talking points against sargon was that cameralady was a larp by Dev. She is listed in the credits of the phil fish expose and mentioned a lot because she was a point of contact for information and sometimes edited videos. That's all I know about that.

Nah DFD may be a man but it's certainly not dev, there's a shoutout to dfd going back to 2016 and there are some separate Twitter and discord accounts connected to dfd. Cannot be Dev, that is too conspiracy brained.

I take the 'Audience Capture" as an excuse over reality. The general feel I got was that he just outright hates his audience and resents that he got a larger right-wing following than left-wing. When an event occurred that was so obviously and totally on the side of said audience it just broke the man entirely because they were proven right and him wrong, and sheer ego and resentment fuels his rapid decline now.

The Trump assassination. He could hide behind his faux-moderate stance for a long time with his bad takes being 'one offs' to his audience. But his utter break with reality with the attempted assassination and proceeding light shown on him was too much and he entered a self-contained downwards spiral. Where in, he lashes out because he is wrong, which leads to a lash back showing he is, which causes his ego to demand he lash out again. He could more or less maintain the status quo until that point.
