I am listening to Arch stream right now. And after dev shows his face there is 5-10 minutes of normal conversation and after that it turns into shitshow when SFO starts talking about his 4 hour video. It starts with classic Drumpf bad he is Hitler II.
Around 1 hour of stream.
Dev mentions that he does not believe US goverment sponsors coups civil wars and opposition groups around the world and when he is shown evidence to contrary. He says Based we US needs more foreign wars to get involved in I fully support Neocons.

Most people on X claiming that Trump would win rarely said that because of what they saw on X directly but instead because of IRL experiences they shared on twitter.

Also nice of dev to conveniently forget that current Elon owned twitter is far more free to allow people to be pro-Trump than before and how that plays a part on it.

This one is really funny to me. You're going to sit there of sound body and sober mind and tell me that Joseph fffffffucking Biden was such an electrifying and inspiring candidate that it convinced two and a half holocausts worth of people to suddenly turn up and vote? Been lurking in this thread for a while now, but feel confident enough to come out and say my piece about Devstiny now that the election shitshow is over.

I was subscribed to him for a long time. I liked him because he offered a different perspective on the culture war as a non-American and was pretty well-educated when it came to political theory and philosophy. He wasn't afraid to call out both sides, and he recognized that the left needed to reform itself or else it would just keep fucking things up. When he started making nice with totally untrustworthy people (Looking at you Brianna Wu), I didn't think much of it. I thought he was just trying to be objective in his analysis and show he was willing to talk to anyone and everyone. Respectable, to be sure, though suspicious.

Then the Trump assassination attempt happened. He went completely mask off and had the fucking gall to speak ill of a man who died trying to protect his family on the flimsiest of evidence. He tried to smear him as a Putin lover and insinuated that he deserved to die. And he had the sheer fucking nerve and lack of tact to say that somehow it was Trump's fault that he got shot at.

That was when I unsubbed. And it looks like he hasn't gotten any better. He's trying to cozy up to leftists in the hope of keeping up the centrist grift when it's clear as day what he's doing.

This seems to be the turning point for a lot of people, but a lot of people in Uzalu's discord server saw this coming a mile away with the Minecraft saga, along with his breakup with Scrump, whatever your opinions of the guy. The threads were coming undone a few years ago.

Now, let me propose an alternate theory for what Dev will do in 2025-2029. We're going to see whether he is actually developing principles and becoming a leftist or if he is just a coward that follows power and Centrism™️. Now that the Overton window is moving right (or at least allowed to move right) and Trump is now the head of the government of America, he might start fellating the right again.
