Dev really seems to be spiraling from narcissistic injury.
He seems addicted to making people mad at him, whether justified or not, because it makes him feel Morally Correct and fuels his need for attention and validation.
The whole vtuber issue seems like something that could've been easily dealt with in DMs with some heartfelt conversation and apology, if Dev had even an ounce of humility left in him.
And the discord argument boils down to that he only wants sycophants around no matter who they are.

I'm not sure I'm willing to put my chips down on "total Dev collapse" it could definitely happen if the right kind of news comes out. I just don't see it happening within a year. But, I definitely think viewership will trend downwards. My best guess is that Dev transforms into a Trump replyguy; constantly quipping at every tiny thing that occurs in the white house. Because, that's the only way he's gonna bring in new viewers.
