His "insifghtful" youtube persona of the past was just a fasade, if you ever heard him in his Weekly Sips after Scrump left, he just sounded and acted like a retard.

This is why he is a lolcow. He obviously has the capability to think and see shit, he obviously CAN improve himself, he obviously could understand people and argue in good faith.

But he chooses not not. Like most lolcows his wounds are all self inflicted. He literally made videos on how communists infiltrate institutions and how they use moralist propaganda and "everything is political" to manipulate people, but he refuses to admit this is a ongoing thing. He will take the most retarded possible positions (Ruby Ridge was good, Competore deserved to die in Butler PA, Total Zigger Death Nuclear War Now for the glory of Neoliberalism) just out of a desire to be a contrarian faggot, because in his head he thinks being a centrist REQUIRES both the right and the left to hate you all the time.

Over the last 2 or so years he has had a dozen chances to avoid drama and lolcow behaviour, and EVERY TIME he chose instead to double down and dig himself deeper on the hole he has dug.

His older videos are good, I even have a few saved along with reading material he used. But it is obvious Dev only ever spoke without actually internalizing and understanding the issues, or he plain forgot what he read and is now a hollow shell of what he was.

That's because he never believed the shit he was sayin in those, i even tehorized myself that he wasnt actually the one who wrote those or at least the majority of HIS ''good'' videos, but Dave did, after all Dev is a commie and he would love bomb someone to leech on and then take and usurp, just like the ShortFatOtaku moniker.

I don't think that's fully the case. It's an easy assumption to make, and it may not be wrong at all - but I've seen this behavior before with other people I know.

I suspect that while Dev's statist tendencies were always a thing, Dev himself held himself to different standards and trucked with with different friends (pun over the video we're never getting intended). However, Dev is Canadian, surrounded by lefties, and in a discord utterly surrounded by people who are pretty fucked up. I suspect that a combination of peer pressure and a complete inability to accept responsibility for his actions ultimately led to him backsliding into old habits, and ultimately, brought us back to where we are now.

In the end, the cause matters little; the effect is the same.

To his credit, he has managed to stay off Twitter for two whole days now. It must be torture, his last post was a bad faith jab at Trump for "deporting a two year old US citizen" and all the replies are people pointing out it was the mother who was deported, and she took her child with her.

By which he meant the election that ended up not happening because the Libtard Party put the WEF Banker in charge and then negotiated with the "opposition" to avoid having a election? That election that people expected in February?

Actually if that is what he had been planning why isn't the thing ready already? You would expect that if his original timeline had a release in February that it would be easy to finish with almost 3 extra months to go right?

This is what he said a couple months ago before Trudeau stepped down. I know he's been inconsistent with his excuses why he hadn't done it. It started with "I'm waiting until I hear all the facts" when asked why he didn't comment while it was happening, the years after he kept waffling with "I'll do it eventually", then in the past year when Trudeau's approval was rock bottom he said he'd do it right before the next election so it'd have the most relevancy, and now he's basically being forced to as an ultimatum by Arch (along with the response videos to Ace and Aydin he said he was going to do but didn't). It would be funny if Scrump posted the video he was collaborating with Aydin tonight those two said they've been working on several months ago, but I wouldn't bet money on it.

I was awoken at 3:30am by a fucking Indian scale caller, a blight upon that accursed country and a plague upon those wretched people, and I took the opportunity to see if Dev got the Trucket video up before midnight. Lol, nope. I checked his Twitter, and he was arguing about Trump and being right about everything again. As of right now he still hasn't set up the premiere. Polls close in 4 hours, so he better hurry his ass if we wants to "win". I'm curious how long this video is, as if it follows the Goonergate or Skullgirls video, then it should be several hours. I wouldn't put it past him to make a 10 minute video of him going "Durr... Trudeau bad, but truckers worse!"
