To be absolutely charitable to Dev (not like he deserves it), it's less likely that and more he wants to do this to own the right because of his anti-Trump crusade and his obsessive need to show that the right is JUST AS BAD as the left. Which, yeah, Dev. Any competent video essayist could have shown that with more examples that in twenty minutes AND not have reduced it to a mere left/right dichotomy.

Speaking of incompetent video essayists, if most of the views of a Youtube video come from the first twenty-four hours, how's Dev doing, and how does it current compare to one of his other autistic deep dives?

It's funny how in some cases, I can use some of the stuff Dev talks about in his videos against him, such as the social recognition stuff. In this case, Dev does not, by any stretch of the imagination, want to be seeing hanging with the right, or be associated with them. This is probably because A) he still holds grudges against the purist right for how they handled the satanic panic, or him wanting to tap into the good ol' days of the fedora atheist and B) he's so gung-ho on being a liberal and dying on that hill.

Dev it is not 2015 anymore feminists are fringe group nowadays thanks to troon cult. And true and honest conservatives seething about games are also pretty rare.

Of course I don't think it's entirely fair, I don't think Sargon means young men should waste their 20s being self-indulgent. At the same time I think his advice is colored by his own experience, given that he by his own admission spent his own 20s as a pot smoking loser working dead end jobs, it's only natural in that context to think of 35-40 as his prime, given that's when he found success online and a settled family life. I dread to think what a worthless species we'd be if the Devonian and Sargonian experiences of life were the norm.

Also hilarious that Dev of all people is the one arguing against hedonism here, and that very shortly after dropping a 5 hour video on some porn shit.

Alright, I'm finally brushing my sleeves to make yet another post on this fucking guy.
I concur, Laburnum, that Sargon isn't telling young men to only value material gains. Both having love and spiritual fulfilment in your life along with capital to enable a comfortable life are important. Of course Dev hears tough advice and immediately interprets it in a more negative light. How is building capital material hedonism? I thought this guy was a capitalist.

Also I am pretty sure Dev IS in his 30s by now. Makes the second sentence of his tweet even funnier.

Lastly, I think doing the opposite of Sargon's advice is what really demoralises men. What should young men do instead of building himself up? Go to therapy? Bury himself in intellectualisations instead of doing? Dev is a person that represents the opposite extreme to his own strawman, a man who seeks carnal activities and pleasure. He is ruled by his dick and by his tortured 'intellectual' facade. This chastising of Sargon is half-hearted, and it just proves for the umpteenth time his hypocrisies.

BAAAAAASICALLY; Truml promised to release the list on the campaign. Now he's in office and for the first 4 to 5 months he promised to release it. Then the FBI said there is no list, but people are so hung up on it that Trump has been saying the list is a dem hoax. Surface level optics make things look bad. Digging into it deeper it's obvious something is wrong, but without more transparency (that Trump doesn't have the legal ability to provide) it's next to immpossible to know whats going on. But most leftoids have used it as a chance to start claiming Trump is covering up the list because he's on it. Meanwhile the (J)ew (O)bsessed (A)lt Rightoids, or Joa as I refer to them as, are all claiming that America has been betrayed. About the only thing most agree on is it's all a shit show.

My personal oppinion? Its been six years. Someone was rich and powerful enough to send a guy into a high security prison to kill Epstien. I think it would be foolish not to assume that they also probably got rid of the list quietly while no one was looking.

Alternatively you have a list comprissing the most rich and powerfull people, with combined net worth's easily exceeding trillions. It would not shock me if the FBI/CIA wasnt willing to give up that kind of leverage over those people for future use. After all it's alot easier to fund an overseas black sight when the cash isnt coming from the gov, and thus isnt on the books. And so, are just lying and saying it doesnt exist.

One thing though is true, the 'list' will come out. And it will be packed full of everyone the administration deems some form of liability or threat regardless of actuall guilt. It'll be the next Jan 6th, which is why I think trump is calling it a hoax.

We kinda got a preview of this during Elon and Trump's public breakup when Elon teased that the reason the list wasn't release was because Trump was on it - Dev quote-tweeted it with some comment like "finally good to have confirmation that was the case." Combine that with the insights of a furry gypsy on the stances Dev takes, and we can guess that he'll be in the "Trump is hiding shit" camp.
If it's sourced by the government, it's true. If it's sourced by Trump's government, it's false. If it's sourced from anywhere else, it doesn't exist.

It wouldn't surprise me if the list never did actually exist in the first-place and what we're seeing is the public backlash against Trump's cabinet over-promising and under-delivering. Given that Epstein was arrested and committed suicide* in 2019, the initial evidence compiled against him for federal charges would have happened under a Trump presidency, but his cabinet was dissolved before anything final or conclusive was released, and his new cabinet is staffed by people with large online followings and without inner knowledge of how the investigations into the case went. It's not unreasonable to assume that a lot of the people receiving blowback thought the list existed, tried their best to produce it, and are now choosing to play word games to still be "technically right" than admit they were wrong that the list existed with 100% certainty based on little more than wishful thinking.

Obviously that doesn't fully explain Trump's actions around this, but he's not really the kind of man to admit he was wrong and eat humble pie, especially on live television.
