He's a man-child who hordes the grudges of his past like they're a precious treasure or courageous trial he overcame. We know he holds grudges against people who, quote unquote "bullied" him when he was a teen for being a fat nerd who played video games and wanted to fuck traps. I bet the "bullies" at his school just were simply normal people. But DEV is a progressive, and you need to keep in mind anyone who says "faggot" and "bro, that's gay" and "no homo", but most importantly, "fatty" and "games are for kids" is a hard right winger.
I can confirm that I'd seen this too. I remember watching a weekly sip or some other talked about the university he had gone to and showed off a promotional commercial that they had created. I think I remember he said he went to university there in 2003. It was apparently the most liberal, university in Canada (think Evergreen or Columbia).
