In Dev's defense, Graham Linehan's kind of a retard. Graham will make inflammatory assumptions like this, assuming everyone pushing for tranny rights is a troon, forgetting that many "normal" people attending college for a semester will get sucked up into LGHDTV4K+ activism as their own cause despite not being a flavor of sexual deviant. There is a difference between being on the right side of the war and being knowledgeable about the war, and Graham doesn't often seem that well-versed about the enemy, only that they're icky and that they seek to further degrade society.

Dev's on fire right now. He's absolutely right that troons have lost their goodwill from the normie opinion by "asking for" (demanding) too much, and it's good to see plain jane, oat bran liberals like him speaking out.

That doesn't describe Dev at all. He's a closeted faggot who lusts for dick, but wants it attached to something that looks female. His opposition to trans activists going too far is it could result in the general public deciding they're not going to tolerate any of that bullshit anymore, forcing trannies back in the closet, and thus depriving Dev of his dream of finally being able to suck a girldick.

I believe that "plain jane, oat bran liberals" are predisposed to craving cock in and around their mouths. Hia Futa fetish doesn't disprove anything in my eyes. I'd argue that Dev would be considered a "plain jane, oat bran liberal" in a vacuum. Then again, in a vacuum, for the longest time someone like Tim Pool could also be considered a liberal.
However, in the current time and situation, Dev has gone so hard in his TDS/RWDS that if tomorrow Trump/prominent conservatives say "the sky is blue", Dev will turn and twist in any way possible to try and go "nuh-uh, Trump/RW wrong (and bad)." Especially on the topic of trans, where Dev seems to be simping HARD for almost any and every pro-trans thing there short of giving bathtub estrogen to pre-teens (and god only knows, he might even go "oh, that's a nuanced topic; here's situations where it might be alright to do it" if he simps any harder). Meanwhile, most liberals who aren't crazy progs won't go that far; most they'd go for is something like "call the tranny a 'she', update 'her' loicense, maybe even allow 'her' to use the ladies room if 'she' passes that much." But they don't allow it to get to "give meds to kids" level, AFAIK.
It really seems to me that just as a lot of Dev's old friends (Scrump, Sargon, etc.) went right-wing to retarded levels, Dev has gone left to retarded levels. Just talking about more "social left" moreso than old school "economic left."

But looking at things from the political stance of control being left wing (because the left wing are all about control. Ffs they think the path to abolishing exploitative work is getting full control of every aspect of every gov in every nation) then Scrump and Sargon have gone down the exact same path as Dev (Sargon much less so) just with a different set of political pet issues.

That's just politics in general. Everyone involved at a political level is in one of four camps. No exceptions.

-In support of or content with the current system. (Does not need to be active support.)
-Has issues with the current systems and wants reforms.
-Has issues with the current systems and wants it completely abolished and replaced.
-Has no issues with the current system in function, only with those who benefit. Wants to change the beneficiaries to another party. (Most commonly, themselves.)
