I've been watching Devon since 2018 and the one time I've seen him try to interact with fans was during the trovo days he tried to do discord but he got overran by middle aged crazy women and he left and never heard anything about the discord again

I find this OP quite perplexing.

You don't simp for someone by not actively deleting their comments or banning them on chats demand.
It's also unreasonable to assume that someone conducts background checks on chat moderators. He entrusted her with responsibilities, but when she mishandled them, he revoked her privileges.

This Poppy knock off has been active in Stack's live chat, comment sections, and has given donations to the desert bee hermit.

The connection between them is rather tangential; she is in his comments, gives him donations, and was a chat mod at one point.
There was some drama in the chat, which ended with Devon advising the chat to get along.
The entire situation highlights that Cringe Panda exhibits erratic behavior, not Devon. He simply didn't take the time to investigate her past before appointing her as a mod.
Demanding that he should have known anything about Cringe Panda beforehand is unreasonable.

Is there something I am missing or is the whole connection just her lurking in his chat and getting the wrench once?

I personally don’t find his superchat video clip memes funny at all, but fortunately all that stuff comes after the actual topic of the video and can be skipped.

I don’t think he fits in the “sektur” because he exists separately from them. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard him call the people associated with that side of grifting out as the fags they are (if they’re even big enough to be noticeable in the first place).

Yes, that is a smart move, there are only a hand full of people that are decent most are lacking either in integrity or personality.

I only found Blackpilled a short while ago, because Sven Stoffels recommended his Hollywood stream. I was already looking for someone that does propaganda breakdowns of media and he did a decent enough job on pointing out the different deceptive memes each piece of media perpetuates.
The history of the OSS later CIA and their propaganda, social engineering and information control is my favorite overall subject.
There is so much we believe and don't even consider why and where we got that information from and so little we actually personally know.
Which makes understanding propaganda paramount to forming good decisions.

Devon’s super chats in my opinion is either really good or really bad. For example he sometimes will talk about unrelated topics and relate it to the overall theme of the stream

His propaganda breakdown videos have always been his biggest strength. I miss his videos on movies from various eras and how their subversive storytelling gradually shifted the Overton Window.

Those videos demonstrate why movies matter, because the stories we tell ourselves and the shared mythology of a culture directly influence worldview.

Ironically, he identified that the right is incredibly weak in not only recognizing this, but addressing it, and then proceeded to do the exact same thing because YouTube killed his growth.

Instead of continuing down the path, he pivoted to streaming on alt tech platforms, requiring the time investment to view his actual good content way too unwieldy. It doesn't help that he is overall extremely negative and off-putting to listen to consistently. He would say he's just a realist, but being so negative all the time just attracts stormfags and the type of disgruntled dissidents who will never ever create any real change.

I would love to see him have some conversations with the Dark Enlightenment guys like Auron MacIntyre and the types of people he interviews. I don't think Devon is as well read or intellectual as they are, but I think he could be if he talked to more like-minded people who aren't so goddamn negative all the time.

He has been focusing a lot on the JQ lately and I like it, He reviewed a Saved by the Bell episode earlier in the week and it was a banger. I had never seen his Hollywoodism episode so I watched it yesterday and it was fan-fucking-tastic. Probably his best episode, IMHO.

I have learned so much about my own programming on race from him. I am a Gen Xer who came of age in the 90s where everyone was color blind.
